I want all of you to at least spend 8 hours being productive with your lives today. Its monday, the only reason you shouldn't be spending 8 hours being productive is if this is your day off from a 6 day work week.

Being productive means NO TV, NO FACEBOOK, NO MYSPACE, NO WOW or whatever the hell kinda game your playing. This is what is f'ing up america guys. Everyone is slacking off and not getting a damn thing done.

I hear too many excuses these days about how guys cannot get women, lets look at a few.

I'M UGLY/NOT ATTRACTIVE/SKINNY/FAT
Solution: Go find a gym, get ur @ss up and run, get on a weight loss program and STAY WITH IT!!!
I know its not easy!! Here are a few tips...
1) Stop eating junk food. This will help you lose weight, your complexion will be so much better and you'll have a lot more energy to do other sh*t.
2) If you're scrawny, look into supplements, eating a lot more protein, do some research (hey u know how to use the internet) and figure out what ur doing wrong.
Oh but looks don't matter blah blah blah. If you don't have looks you better find some way to get a sh*tload of confidence. But hey guess what, you'll have a ton of confidence if u actually work and get an amazing body.

GIRLS GO FOR RICH GUYS
Hmmmm....some might actually wanna be secure and be able to have fun with a man.
TIPS:
1) Get a freakin job? Part time if you're in college.
2) Get good grades? Guys school isn't that hard if u study instead of being on here and facebook all the time.
3) Work on your interpersonal skills and work your way up in the company.
4) Oh yeah, and actually work hard on the job. Hmm, u might get promoted if you're actually an asset to your company. Or at least you wont get fired.

I HAVE NO CONFIDENCE/SOCIAL SKILLS
1) I swear to god you'll have confidence if you have a fit body and money. Hey and why not do a sport or hobby while you're at it? You'll meet people and you'll have something to freaking talk about.
2) Don't give a sh*t...so what if you embarrass yourself...you're a bad ass anyways cuz you've got money, you're fit, and you feel good about yourself.

Hey look, all your problems are solved...I bet a girl might actually wanna have sex with a guy like you now. I'm guessing you know all those other little tricks from this site now anyways and I'm running out of time.

The key here is if you want to be reproductive (sexually active) you've gotta be productive in the first place. So get off your ass and do something with your life, don't make anymore excuses. Well I've gotta get going...gotta work out for an hour and a half and then do homework for another 6.

I need to do this as well. The internet is sucking my life away I'm so addicted and I waste so much time when I could be learning guitar and other ****. I do work out and I'm skinny and trying to gain it's a lot of work it's not easy but I'm making bits of progress. This is a solid post because I find myself getting attached to the advice on the site instead of going out and applying it.

I do some things throughout my day - trade stocks, go to the gym, do homework, eat a nice meal at a nice place, and it makes me happy. When I'm happy I tend to attract women naturally.

You know what's great? I work landscaping, so I'm outside in the gorgeous weather for 8 hours a day, I love it. The landscaping keeps me tan, and cut. I come home and go straight to the gym. It does get tiring, but at the end of the day I feel extremely accomplished. I love being outdoors so even on weekends it's nice to go for a hike, maybe build a campfire and go night-fishing somewhere.

Everyone should really look into developing an appreciation for these things. I'm completely happy without ever even worrying about women. When I do have the time to sit down on the computer, that even feels great, because I feel I earned it.

And when I have the time to take a great girl out, it's fun for both of us because she notices how appreciative I am of just being out having a good time. It makes the women want to earn your time too if you have a lot going on.

So good post, and I agree. Go out and stay busy. And you'll really SEE WHAT LIFE HAS TO OFFER.

Like I said, you cant just keep reading this stuff. You've got to go out and do it to get anywhere. There's no theory, just do it.

The working out thing really really helps guys, it gives you tons of confidence. Haha btw, I broke up with my girlfriend last friday...five hours later I found myself making out with a girl I never thought I would have had a chance with a few months ago. Life is good...

this thread is all good advice and true, but

I think we should concentrate more on WHY guys lack the motivation and incentives to actually do it? Why some do and others dont? What differentiates them? That would offer practical solutions and self reflection, to eliminate the cause of the procrastination and laziness.

EXACTLY!!! It's easy to tell someone to go do something and put them through a huge guilt trip about it, but can you target the very source why they lack motivation?

It actually has more to do with lifestyle. It's scientifically proven that eating fast food makes people lazy, depressed (minor), and unmotivated. It's scientifically proven that jacking off everyday makes people exhausted, tired, and unmotivated. Posture can prove to be the difference between a bright and crappy day.

What do people do on a regular basis? Jack off, eat fastfood, and assume poor posture (much less this though). This was my life for a couple of summers and then I changed it. We as Americans (at least most of us) are exposed to acidic food every day. Some of us eat fast food at least once a day. A food watch of what to eat and what not to eat can be all the difference between having a healthy life not only physically, but mentally. If you wanna know what foods to eat and what not to eat, print out this chart:

http://www.carb-fighter-online.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/acid_alkaline_chart.gif

Most foods are categorized as either alkaline and acidic. The effects that acidic food have in your body is that it makes your cells clump together, making it that much harder for your body to burn fat, which makes your body work even more, which is why people feel tired the day after or of when they eat fast food. Although I still eat fast food at least once a week, the big difference that I have done to make me physically and mentally healthy was I drink a lot of lemon water. Not necessarily lemonade, but lemon water. This has done wonders for me and I'm not sure how many pounds I've lost from drinking it every day, but I've lost a lot of weight and have been healthy mentally for the past couple of months.

As for jacking off, this is an article from the book The Multi-Orgasmic Man:

In a front-page story on December 3, 1992, the New York Times reported startling scientific research that seems to confirm the ancient Taoist insight about the toll that sperm production takes on a man's body. "These results are the last thing I had expected when I started doing the experiment," said Wayne Van Voorhies of the University of Arizona. "They were so startling that I did the work over four times to make sure I got it right. They basically say a lot of our preconceived notions [about male sexuality] just do not hold."

Dr. Van Voorhies was studying simple but revealing worms called nematodes. What, you may ask, do worms have to do with your sexuality'. Well, these nematodes are not just your everyday, garden-variety worms. "The genes and biochemical processes nematodes use," explains Dr. Philip Anderson of the University of Wisconsin, "are the same as those that humans and other mammals use." In scientific studies, nematodes are frequently used in place of human subjects.

Dr. Van Voorhies tested three kinds of male worms. The first group of worms was allowed to mate at will, which required frequent sperm production. On average, these Don Juan worms lived only 8.1 days. (Nematodes, in general, don’t live very long.) The second group of worms was not allowed to mate at all. These, shall we say, monastic worms lived an average of 11.1 days. But even more startling, the third group, the multi-orgasmic worms that did not constantly have to produce sperm but were allowed to mate at will, lived close to 14 days – over 50 percent longer than the worms that needed to continually produce sperm!

The Times concluded: "The new work suggests that ceaseless sperm production takes its toll on a male, perhaps requiring the use of complex enzymes or biochemical processes that have harmful metabolic byproducts." The Times goes so far as to suggest that "the difference in life span between men and women just may be linked to sperm production. Women on average live about six years longer than men." There are other theories to explain the disparity in life expectancy between men and women, including differences in lifestyle and in hormones. Whether or not the production of sperm actually shortens your life, it certainly saps your strength.
We don't need the study of worms to tell us that releasing your sperm into the world makes us tired. Shoot I remember early high school when I come home, first thing I would do is jack off and then I would always knock out for at least 2 hours. We all experience that sudden loss of strength, that exhaustion when we jack off. If you're not convinced, I dare you to go a week without masturbating, you'll see the differences pretty clearly.

Depression, huge lack of self conficence, denial that this will work.
Passiveness. Think-but-no-act attitude.

Just have to point out that these for the most part aren't true (at least for me). I have a fit body, money, and a good and stable job and I am the lowest confidence person you will ever meet.

As for your second point. The only time not giving a sh*t and embarassing yourself works is if women already like you prior to this. If you walk in with confidence, with good looks and good money and for whatever million and one reasons why a particular woman doesnt like you if you act stupid you will look stupid and her opinion of you will drop even further (if thats possible).

Nice input guys, yes you need motivation to do these things, its key. The way I do it is think about what i want to be better at. I then make a goal, and try to set a reasonable time to achieve it. Like a month ago, I made a goal to get a six pack (for the first time in my life) before summer. I did research on how to get it and planned out a schedule to achieve it. Measure your results while in the process (i feel like i'm 3/4's of the way there), this will motivate you to keep it up (you'll see the light at the end of the tunnel).

Hard Times, if you're all these things already...you know there's always something that you can do better. Try a new hobby to get you working for something. Also, look at all the people around you...try and notice how better off you are than them. I know this sounds bad, but it works. Be like "hey at least i'm not like that guy". If its social problems, there's all the info you need to know about that on here.

Of course there is always room for improvement no matter how on top of the world you currently are. For example I still strive to climb the corporate ladder and make even more money and although I am fit I still work out to get in better shape.

And as far as thinking I'm better off than a lot of people, I think that on a daily basis but then I come back to reality when I realize that I'm most likely just as unhappy as they are.
