Guns are also very easy to manufacture, at least in a time of crisis when one is not worried about the government watching. A gun is an idea. Even if they took all the guns, they could not eliminate the idea. A common metal shop could make them no problem. And pioneers were making their own gunpowder and bullets 200 years ago. But today's redneck hillbilly doesn't have access to drones, tanks, body armor, and more importantly a printing press to buy as much equipment as needed.

Ultimately, this is more of a psyops war than anything else. If the string-pullers (that control government, media and large corporations) can convince people that guns are bad, people who own guns are bad, then it's much, much easier for them to maintain control.

If they can't, and a substantial amount of people feel that guns are a right, guns are an obligation, then it will be much harder for the left to gain complete control. Especially when guys like Rand Paul are calling for an end to militarized police.

Not that I'd vote for Rand Paul, or that he'll ever affect that change, but at least a politician is out there publicly saying the idea of militarized police isn't a good one.

On the other hand, for every Rand Paul, there's likely TEN politicians that will use something like Ferguson to call for Martial Law.

Kind of like a little kid standing up to a bully. He doesn't have to go full on Chuck Norris on him, he's just got to convince the bully that every time he picks on the kid the bully's going to at least get a kick in the nuts.

Tanks are nothing a copper shape charge can't handle. The real thing to worry about is drones.

What we need is ron paul, or now rand paul. Drop the U.N. Stop any aid to foreign nations (unless they are under attack by a muslim state, and really need it)

Focus on fixing our own economy, education system, and especially the welfare program, and social programs. I do believe we need reasonable social programs, because some time fellow Americans need help. But we need to help them help themselves.

It's so simple what needs to be done that it's retarded how things are so complicated just to distort things, and keep people confused.

A confused person is a fearful person. A fearful person is easy to control.

I also think we need to assassinate any and all Mexican cartel members by any means necessary. If we can stabilize Mexico and lead them a bit to fix themselves that would be great. If mexico is fixed, then they will want to stay in their own country because it's not a sh!t hole. Then you could actually open the borders a lot more, kind of ironic.

What Needs To Be Done is highly dependent on what your intended outcome is.

For those that hold the strings (bankers, cronyists, various industrial complexes, etc) the intended outcome is MORE POWER.

For Them, What Needs To Be Done is whatever the easiest way is for them to hold and increase their power.

Sadly, the common method for doing that is to use the "excuse" they are trying to "protect us" or trying to "support the economy" or they are trying to "protect the children."

All of that is just window dressing. They only say that because they know people will believe they have good intentions, but are just out of touch academic idiots who don't know how the world works.

To make it worse, those who hold power also hold most of the weapons, most of the ammunition, control the networks, and the printing presses with which to make money to buy everything they need.

All the wealth and power has been concentrating in the very top, and it's been doing so for the past 30 years.

In order to "fix this" you'd have to convince literally 100 MILLION people (those that hold power, and those who consume much more than they produce) to voluntarily DECREASE their power, or INCREASE their production while DECREASING their consumption.

Ain't gonna happen.

Bottom line is that EVERY SINGLE SOCIETY that has ever existed has a 100% MORTALITY RATE.

We are no different. We're beyond the point of no return. There is no "fixing this."

We are at the end of our figurative rope.

Tell people what "needs to be done" is like telling an ultra fat person who's been given six months to live that "what needs to be done" is to simply exercise, and only eat boiled chicken breasts.

Easy to say, nearly impossible to do.

Make no mistake, a HUGE change to western society is coming. Maybe ten years, maybe fifty years. It will most likely be a slow, protracted collapse, much like the end of the Roman Empire.
