There is a gay dude I know who is still in the closet. He is extremely popular because he does look good and dresses extremely fashionably, sings in a choir, does have an extremely attractive voice. Guess what, chicks dig him and want him! There is not even a hint of masculinity in him at all (asexual)and he is obviously gay (he checks me out sometimes). I suppose some of the chump women are too dumb to actually hit on him. Discuss, please.

It sounds like there's some more backstory here. You say there no hint of masculinity and that this guy's asexual. Do you mean asexual in the context that he never discuss's sex, or that he doesn't physically interact with other people---what I'm assuming you mean is that he doesn't project any sexuality, but he "looks good" as you describe him and dresses well. Obviously this gets girls' attention and they respond sexually....

He might be obviously gay to you but if other don't know then they would think he's straight. Or he could be gay and it's just another case of a girl wanting what she can't have.

Girls respond real intensely to flamboyant guys as well as badasses....I can't gather enough info from your OP though it just sounds like a rant haha

Masculinity is, in and of itself, not nearly as important as confidence. This guy never feels insecure or unsure of himself around girls, because he has no interest in trying to impress them. He's confident, looks good and is talented; these attributes are far more important to girls than being able to rip a phone book in half.

I would like to ass this to the discussion: his fan club consists mainly out of the "nice" guy female counterparts. They are indeed chump women, who want a "woman" with a penis as a romantic partner. These women also are less feminine to begin with, in my opinion.

It also speaks on the irrationality of being attracted to someone who is not gonna return the affection.
