I had a fat, older punk try that on me once when i was underweight and about 15 or so. It didn't work (for him). I can still remember his words, "Why don't you come over to me instead, hun. I can at least get you pregnant!"

The above quote has nothing to do with or with not hitting on girls with boyfriends, and a lot to do with not go with that attitude where he can just bully his way into their circle and start putting the boyfriends down, etc. Was making a reference to him getting into playing little games with children and have one or more of them start throwing stuff at him if he pi$ses them off enough. You know, like that old guy did in your situation.

Not talking about you "saving his a$s" from us criticizing his choice to game girls with boyfriends. That's a whole other issue, and another day's discussion. The guy in my post obviously didn't have enough game or whatever and didn't know when to cut his losses. I didn't fault him for TRYING his approach, but when a chick starts to raise her voice at you and hurl insults it's time to leave her alone.

In this case (trying to wedge yourself in between her and her boyfriend), you would obviously be stepping into someone else's territory, and at your own peril.

Let me tell you what happened to a guy like you that was trying to talk to my girl while I was in the bathroom taking a piss. One week later I saw the guy with his girl in the mall and followed them both to his girl's house, later after a few days got friendly with his girlfriend and after a week I nailed his girl , and sent him a picture video with his girl polishing my nob. Some of you wouldn't do approach a girl out of principle, a couple of others seem to be taking this rather personally. Are you the little guys that always feel inadequate and always in fear that someone is gonna hit on your girlfriend?!

OK, for the sake of discussion, let us change it up a bit. What if the girl makes eye contact with you, while she is walking with her boyfriend? (btw, this has happened to me numerous times)

Quite the oposite as I'm 5'11" and weight 185 lbs. and has the looks of a "bad boy" to the point that I can sometimes be intimidating or steretyped.

Where do you draw the line between getting what you want and not being a bully?

What do you do in other life situations such as business or going after a sale?

If you see a competitor is weak, wouldn't you go after his business? Look at all the hostile takeovers that happen. If a competitor is weak, you exploit the situation. Is that bullying?

This post makes me sick just thinking about it. I'm a firm believer of treating other guys with respect when it comes to their gals. If a woman leaves a guy for you, she will leave you for another guy eventually. Going after "taken" women doesnt' make you a DJ, it makes you a TOOL.

A few years ago I dated Miss Wyoming. She was pretty stunning. I remember when we would go out, be it a resturant, whatever, there would be silence when we walked in. It was a little uncomfortable actually, people would just stare. Not once, did I have a guy disrespect me by hitting on her when I was there though, thankfully.

Fortunately people like MrLuvr are rare...although, if it did happen to me, I would calmly watch my gal's reactions. How she reacts will tell you everything, if she's quality or not. Afterwords, go up to the guy and confront him privately.
