I'll keep it brief
HB 8.5
Met girl at house party, she showed high interest, seeking my approval, telling me i'm amazing and awesome etc etc, we were going clubbing after the party and she wanted to hang with me but i was meeting my boys and I said yeah meet us in town, she's like text me when you get in I really want to hang with you.
Got to town, lost phone (and jacket) so couldn't text, didn't think much of it.
Next day she adds me on facebook, "why didn't you text meeee...."
I said i lost my phone, asked her out on the spot, she said yeah awesome, set it up for the following friday, she was typing long ass messages i responded a bit then bounced.
Friday morning I get "something came up blah blah" so i think ah right... flake
go to standard "cool let me know when you are free and we will do something then" she texts straight back and says she still wants to go out, am i free tomorrow, I said I may have something on but text me lunchtime and i'll know.
Didn't hear from her again, I did not text her back after telling her to text me the next day which she said she would. this is like a month ago so cool whatever moved on.
Today she walks into my work, hung around for 45 minutes, says "we still need to go out". I said cool well you text me when you are free and we will arrange something. She stayed for a while after this, she was even hanging around while i'm serving customers, answering the phone etc, in the end I had to say look i need to get back to work but we'll talk soon. I was pleasant and had her laughing and stuff and she asked me how it was going with my ex who had been on the scene, and I just said yeah she's not in the picture, she said "thats really good"
Anyway, what's the appraisal, was I too trigger happy or too indifferent?
I don't play silly girl games so if she wants to hang i'm down but i'm loathe to ask twice.
(weren't that brief was it, ah well)
