Future dreams

I want to hear what kind of future you guys have planned for yourselves (or the future that you dream about but dont actually plan on pursuing.)

Here's mine.

I plan on bringing my grades up in my last two years of high school so I can get into U of I in Champaign, and after a year I plan on transferring (or at least trying to) to McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, where I will go into business and get an MBA, and then move to New York and work at as a trader at an investment bank on Wall Street. I will start between $50,000 and $90,000, and after 5 years my salary will be up to at least $500,000. I will get a huge and very well-designed apartment, with nice art on the walls, and the top of the line home entertainment system. I will eat out at nice restaurants every night, go to clubs alot, and have plenty of ONS. I will have at least one car, which will be a Ferarri. I will go on vacations around the world when I get the chance. I will wear armani suits and gucci shoes. I will have a good group of friends to spend my free time with. After 10 years my salary will be over a million, and I will be able to retire with my 10 or 15 million and buy a nice house along the ocean, probably in California. At this point I may have found wife material, or maybe it will take a while longer, but I will probably get married in my late twenties or early thirties to an amazing and gorgeous woman who likes me for more than my money. I will take some years off, travelling the world, and unless I find somewhere in the world I like more than the US, I will settle in a mansion along the beach. I will eventually start up a business-- maybe a unique restaurant-- although i still won't spend much time working. I don't see children in my future dream, although I'm sure by the time I am older I will probably want to have kids.

Alright, now I want to hear what you guys see yourself doing in the future.

I hope to graduate from high-school . After that, it doesn't really matter what happens to me. I don't think money is my key to happiness, music is.

Then I plan on goin to college I don't really know which college I want to attend yet. I'm really into law enforcement so my goal is to become a police officer aka "pig" or something along the lines of law enfocement.

After high school I'm thinking I'll just head east (I'm in Oregon right now). I'm aspiring to be either a professional card player or a musician. As my goal in life is not to make copious amounts of money, but to have copious amounts of fun, I believe one or both of these careers will suit me just fine.

As far as college goes, I'm thinking of applying to somewhere on the east coast. I'd pay my way through with scholarships for all my 4.0s and by grinding it out on my leather ass in the cardrooms. Hopefully I'll find something I'm interested in during college (a career that would be a little more concrete than being a card player or a musician), but other than cards and playin' my guitar I really don't have anything that I'm too passionate about yet.

On a side note, all of you that are of legal gambling age (or all of you that have a fake I.D.) need to pick up a copy of the book "Winning Low-Limit Hold 'em" and get your asses down to your local card rooms; it's entirely to easy to take money from the ****ing morons who play there.

Hold'em is the ****!! I just started playing $5 buyins with my brothers friends about a month ago. I am getting pretty good. Right now I'm reading "Get the edge at low limit texas holdem".

I plan on going to a college (preferably university) I don't know which one yet. But I am thinking of taking Broadcast Journalism.

I don't know if it is just me, but I think it would be fun reporting from the front lines of Iraq....

- I'm going to a university to take a double major of graphic design and business administration. It may take 5 years.
- I will work at a design firm but 1-2 years after, I want to develop enough rapport to create my own firm.
- I will also begin to get into the rap scene. Start off with just a few emcee battles. Then I will put out a CD and sell it for $6 each. With the money I'm getting, it will be enough.
- Once I get at least $100k from rapping, I will start my own label. My goal is slowly become a dominating force in my area which has around 1.1 million people in an untapped area.
- Costs for my albums will be low. I can do the designs, I am a competent producer, and all that.
- I will be around 25 by now and if I get a lot of good buzz, I will try to go to major distributors to get a record label set up for me. I'm sure a lot of CEOs are looking for the next Shady Records so if everything is good then I will try to pursue it.
- If I get a major label deal, I will sign three rappers and one female R&B singer. My goal is not to be like most label CEOs and have their CDs essentially be ads for the people in my label. I will also try to work hard as a producer so I can produce other people's CDs outside my label. Like P. Diddy.
- After a huge CD hit from me, I will go on a world tour, which has been known to rake in sometimes around $50m.
- If I don't hit it big with the major deal, I will stick to the independents and make a smaller but still great amount.
- If my rap efforts basically fail, I will just stick to try to be the biggest graphics design firm out there.
- All in all by the time I'm 35, I want to be married and have 3-4 kids. I will settle down but still be hungry in my desire to eventually take over the world (not literally)
- I want to be a millionaire when I go to the 20th HS reunion. I got voted most likely to be CEO so I can't let them down.
- I want to retire in an amazing mansion and still have enough money to enjoy life, not be dirt poor in a nursing home and the only real exciting event is taking 20-30 pills.

Okay here i go.

Once i graduate from high school i plan on going to america for a year for the hell out of it, get some work over there. Come back to australia, go to the ANU (Australian National University) for commerce and accounting.

I then plan on getting a job and start up my own real estate agent when im in my mid 20's, eventually i will hire someone else to run the real estqate agent so i keep gaining from it. I want to open up a hotel and restraunt up on the gold coast in my early 30's. Go travveling and im not sure about retirement yet.

Women will come and go, i have no plans for marriage i will have to wait and see what comes my way.

That's exactly what my friend wants to do. But after he saves up acouple millions, he's going to come back down to Miami and were going to do real estate.

Literature, writing, sociology in college. 1 short story has been accepted by a large website, no pay though. Latest has been sent out to several of the larger magazines, some of them pay a lot (8-9c per word, you do the math). I guess the plan is to do well in school, go to a nice northeastern college. By then for various reasons I should be succesful and will volunteer for several years in a Central American/South American country in need of help (practically every one). Then I'll come back and get into politics.

Compared to the rest of the plans it's a bit vague, I realize, however I am 15 as of now, and to have a story published in a big magazine at this age would just be AWESOME for a reputation. If it doesn't happen now it will definitely happen soon, in under a year.

Well, my real dream is to win a huge lottery right after my 18th birthday and go into "early retirement". But since that probably won't happen (I do plan on playing the lotteries in my area every week though after I turn 18) I plan on going to a university and figuring out a good carrer for myself.

after the army, i want to be alive.

assuming that i am my plans are to spend somewhere between 1 semester to 1 yr at community college, transfer to the college of my choice, (not sure yet but a school with a very respected business program) and graduate then go to graduate school.

my career ambitions are to take companies like jenny craig and healthy choice out of business.

i know that i can make better healthier food that tastes better. i am also tryin to figure out how to make a healthier ice cream.

also, i want to start a training program thats helps ppl on a daily level. its would be kind of like a live-in trainer. someone to lift with you, run with you, cook you meals etc. -still need to work some kinks out.

also, i want to write a book about my family and how going through different sects of our religion has taught/improved/changed/hurt/help us as a family. it would also be kind of a guide to family and parenting.

also, i want to be a bartender -seems like a kickass job and great place to have woman try and pick YOU up.

and a over-nite camp counsler at my alma-mater camp.

You should take that money and put it into the stock market instead. You can become a millionaire guaranteed, and you don't have to wait until you are 18 to start.

Graduate HS with a 96 average [it will be a feat, cuz I only had a 89 average my freshman year]. Get a 1450 on the SAT's. Go to a fuking good business school, get my MBA. Travel the world [big cities, baby] developing assets and turning them. Marry a beautiful [were talking underwear model] woman. Have at leased 2 sons, and raise them to be better than me at everything. Live to be at least 150 y/o, and die someplace warm.

Before I die I want to own:
1 medium sized house in a very good school district for the kids, well furnished
1 Heavy duty Jeep Wrangler for fam travel
1 Cadillac

Before I die I want to:
Skydive
Drive the wrong way down the highway
Articulate to my parents how much I truely care
Scubadive
Go to Vegas
Run a Marathon
Lots of other stuff

But at the moment I just wanna get to states for HS soccer, take that job in express, have sex in the dressing rooms at leased once, then take the job in the new casino's opening up in niagra falls I got offered, ect.
