Funny issue with NC

Went out for lunch with a HB7 from PoF on Sunday 11/2.

She texted me right after and asked if I was free the following Saturday, 11/8.

I told her I would have to run it by my boss and get back to her. (my boss being my 11yo daughter because she is the one who told me to get online and 'get some chicks', so I tell all the HBs that I have to clear everything through her. They think it's funny).

Eventually we made plans for Saturday 11/8. Were supposed to meet at 6:30pm and I was running late from helping a friend with a project. I texted her at 5:00 and told her I wouldn't be able to make it until 7:15pm. She texted back and said "let's just go another time".. I didn't argue and said "OK sounds good".

Then I went NC. Yesterday she texted me several times throughout the day. I didn't respond.

Last night she texted me something I had never heard before "When you don't text me back it makes me think that you have a gf or are married and are busy with them. Do you have a GF or a wife?"

I replied and said "umm, NO. Not a real good statement from the one who canceled our date last night. There are two of us here and the one who canceled last night wasn't me".

She replied "Well I'm just telling you that if you have a GF or a wife we can still be friends but we won't be having sex"

I replied "no worries. But sense you canceled on me, you need to ask me out next time.. And I want steak, lobster, caviar, the finest wines, and a limo".

She said "no problem, you can pay for all of that and we can go out on Thursday ".

I said "Ok see you Thursday can't wait for you to buy me all that".


Going fine now. Meeting her Thursday after work, I think..

The part that confused me was the accusations of having a wife or GF just because I didn't respond right way.. That's one I have never seen before. ????

Just laugh it off and say something like "I'll be sure to leave my wedding ring at home then... and the wife ".

Dinner is a bit much for a first date, no less a girl you haven't slept with. You will be setting the tone as a romantic more so than a lover. You want to be a lover so you can fxxck her afterwards, plus you're wasting money on dinner for little reason. Go to a bar, or to the restaurant to drink wine (with at most a little snack in the side). Make sure you just briefly ask about the logistics mid-date such as "how long have you been living in this area?", "how close is your place?" and quickly change the subject in order to precede the pull. Tell her you want to take it slow just to comfort her (RSD Todd tactic). Then go back to her place and start kissing her and the rest.

I don't really understand why you would go "NC" on this one. You changed the time of the date, she couldn't do it, you two agreed to some time in the future. On paper that all sounds good.

HB7 from POF. You already got the meet and greet out of the way. Just invite her over for movie night, or perhaps a drink at the bar first as a pre-emptive strike to ASD. Boom done.

By going "NC", and then talking about dinner, it seems you're making it harder than it needs to be.

To be fair she didn't flake on you, it was you who was running late and so she decided to play games and re-establish her value by cancelling. If you weren't running late then she would have no reason to re-establish value and would have most likely met you.

If a girl asked me if I was married I would probably laugh at it so hard that she would feel stupid for saying such a thing. She's definitely had an experience before where a married/attached guy has dated her and so this is a red flag for her. She does however like you and so therefore even with that red flag she wouldn't be 100% closed off.

Its definitely time for you to bed her. Her comment of she won't be having sex if you're married basically tells you that sex with you is on her mind.
