I've kept quiet, but now i'm getting bugged. People, please read the bible, use common sense, think, then ask a question if still necessary.


Here's some help for a quick few without even reading the posts:

"pay on the first date"--did u ask her out? then yes.

"girls says she likes me but doesnt want a relationship"--she DOESN'T like you!

"is it wrong to" --if you have to ask, then probably so. either way, it's a waste of a post.

"should we be friends with her brother" --if you want to. if you don't, then don't.

"when a girl comes to you to complain about her problems"-- walk the other way, or just change the subject. if she persists, tell her you don't want to hear it. YOU WILL GET NOWHERE LISTENING TO HER PROBLEMS!

"how do you become successful?"-- hardwork/trial and error.

"is it submissive..."--probably so.

"i blame my mother for making me into an AFC"--that's fine, and probably so. now change. if you don't, blame yourself.

"i don't get how such nerds keep girls around"-- take a look at them. take a look at the relationship and the quality of girl they are with. a cute girl may go for a lesser quailty guy that she can command. not everything is so superficial.

"how should i approach this?"-- try actually approaching first and see what happens.

"update on girl fight part III"-- there was no need for a part I. please stop wasting our time with this stupid tramp that wants to fight you. or just put her in ther place.

"am i getting out of the friendzone?"--NO! you will probably never escape the zone, so move on!

"how important is getting laid for you?"--who cares!?!? how important is it for YOU? that is all that matters. waste of a post.

now, i may have trivialized a post of two with my terse responses to their titles, but in most cases i believe i'm right on target. lets clean up these boards, please!

People should be disallowed from posting NEW threads (they can respond) within the first two weeks of registering.

I have no problem answering threads of newbies and giving what advice I can personally offer, but please use the search engine for similar posts as you will probably find your dilemma has already been answered thoroughly elsewhere on this board.

I agree man... nobody's forcing you guys to click on any of those posts, and you were new once too. What's making you so high-strung about this? Just relax and repeat to yourself: "it's just a message board"

the problem is this:

enough people like me are fed up with reading trashy posts that we don't contribute anymore. i mean, we want to give back to the place that has helped us see the proverbial DJ light, but the quality of the posts is so poor that we're turned off.

as such, the more experieced dj's don't respond to posts and noob's end up answering other noob's questions. that does nothing except accelerate the trend of ignorance and inferior information.

at one time, not too long ago, you could safely begin at the top of the list of new posts and work your way safely to the bottom without encountering loads of rubbish....

u guys should take the ASF approach. have a big posting guidelines. bigger than now somewhere on every screen. and then make a muesum of the reading impaired

I dont' start threads that often. When I do, half the time I decide not to post them because as I'm typing, I realize I know the answer already.

I think a lot of people make the mistake of reading the FORUM first because some jackass already here refers them to the DJ FORUM instead of to sosuave.com itself or to the DJ Bible. So they pick up the banter on the forum without ever reading the material and thus never really get a grasp on anything except what others are saying.

If you refer someone to this site, either refer them DIRECTLY to the "Bible" or to the main pages/articles...it's similar to the mASF "Player's Guide". That was one of the first things I read when I started scouring the internet for girl help. Someone else sent me the link, actually. I'm sure if I had just gone to this forum or (especially!) the ASF forums and started posting questions, I would've gotten b!tched out for not reading.

I really love this forum and some of the posts are loaded with some major life-altering advice, a lot of it much better than the Bible in my opinion, since there are varied views, experiences and input from different perspectives. And sometimes a post that portrays an old theory in a new way can help the idea click into place more quickly.

My only gripe is that some of the best posts and tips on this board are so difficult to find, are forgotten or overshadowed by the mass of new threads asking the same questions that were posed months, or even years ago.

But I'll admit, I'm as guilty as anyone of posting inane threads, especially when I first subscribed, because as an AFC everything you read here seems so alien that you can't even trust your own initiative.

Just keep them in a self-storage locker and get a lamp (and a fan); when you need to escape for awhile just hang out there. Then just tell her you're doing something cool like hang gliding... she'll think you're mysterious
