Have any of you noticed the more successful you become with women, the more some of your friends become "haters". I got this obnoxious text from a buddy of mine this morning. It was a meme of this really busted chick. It said "vote for anyone that would hit this". Underneath it, he said, I vote for you.

Anyways, the ironic part, is this same person blew 400 dollars over the weekend on strippers in West Virginia. Yeah, West Virginia. Women are rough out there... In college he banged some of the nastiest chicks on campus without any hangups. Cellulite and all.

It seems like the more dates I get, the more my "friends" seem to send these texts. I don't date busted chicks, but I do live in a large city and get to date quite a few women because of that.

Anyways, have any of you noticed this strange phenomenon of friends becoming jokester/haters?

I just find this kind of behavior unusual. Not offended by it, just curious if you've experienced the same thing.

You're overreacting. Me and my friends talk **** about each other every day. The text he sent you wasn't that big of a deal. Now if he starts trying to tear you down in front of girls, he's crossed the line. Also, note that they're is a thin line between joking and insulting. I don't think he crossed it, but if you really think there may have been some malice in his texxt, distance yourself from him for a little bit.

I know what you're saying. You just adjust the amount of time you spend with them accordingly and not divulge too much info on your dating life. They can meet your hot gf when it counts; at a BBQ, a wedding, a birthday, a get-together. Until then, your private life is for your eyes only. That's how I would handle friends like that.

I just find it ironic, coming from a guy with such poor taste in women. I get that kind of **** all the time from him. I understand when bros are just joking around, but i'm starting to sense some "bvtthurt" from his end. I was just offering him some tips on how to get more women, guess he didn't want them. Yeah from now on i'll keep my personal life on the DL. I just saw what he was doing with his dating life and figured i'd offer him some advice. Guess not lol. Sometimes you can't save a sinking ship.

Law 2: Never put too Much Trust in Friends, Learn how to use Enemies
Be wary of friends-they will betray you more quickly, for they are easily aroused to envy. They also become spoiled and tyrannical. But hire a former enemy and he will be more loyal than a friend, because he has more to prove. In fact, you have more to fear from friends than from enemies. If you have no enemies, find a way to make them.

Law 46: Never appear too Perfect
Appearing better than others is always dangerous, but most dangerous of all is to appear to have no faults or weaknesses. Envy creates silent enemies. It is smart to occasionally display defects, and admit to harmless vices, in order to deflect envy and appear more human and approachable. Only gods and the dead can seem perfect with impunity.
