Reputation is the cornerstone of power. Through reputation alone you can intimidate and win; once you slip, however, you are vulnerable, and will be attacked on all sides. Make your reputation unassailable. Always be alert to potential attacks and thwart them before they happen. Meanwhile, learn to destroy your enemies by opening holes in their own reputations. Then stand aside and let public opinion hang them.

Everything is judged by its appearance; what is unseen counts for nothing. Never let yourself get lost in the crowd, then, or buried in oblivion. Stand out. Be conspicuous, at all cost. Make yourself a magnet of attention by appearing larger, more colorful, more mysterious, than the bland and timid masses.
Now that you have the attention focused on you, this is an opportunity for you to show people that you are a cool dude who doesn't really care what other people think, because you know what you want and you don't need their validation. All attention is good, even negative attention (at least at first if you know what to do with it).
Some people would look at this and run away and think oh look how bad everything is. But you know the saying when life gives you lemons, you just make lemonade. Well, you are about to pour yourself a big glass of sweet lemonade and you doing it with style.
Anytime you hear that you were crying over this girl you just have to show whoever it is that you really don't care, because you don't. Say whatever it is you want you could be like "You can think whatever you want, I was crying or I wasn't crying or whatever, because I really don't care what you think. Can I make it any more clear that I don't car what you think, because your dumb little thoughts don't matter to me." Just keep repeating the theme over and over until they shut up. When you do it, don't get upset just be relaxed and have a smart sass smirk on your face.
Keep acting like they are the dumb sasses and keep making statements that show you don't care. You could even say that you aren't apologizing for anything you've done ever, so they can stop wasting their time. In fact you should definitely let people know that you are NEVER going to apologize for ANYTHING you've done EVER! Just keep the frame. It's easier than you think. People will notice if you act really cool about it. This whole thing should be almost a joke to you, because it really is pretty stupid.
And then have that take it or leave it attitude like Jack Wealthy is talking about. The girl really isn't that important, but you still want to have a chance with her if you have a chance.
So all you do is give her the ultimatum. Use whatever words you want to use, but get the message across that you don't like her now, because she cares too much what her brother thinks and what other people think, so you don't even want to be her friend anymore.
Don't be mad, just have the attitude that she's just a waste of your time, but you really don't care either way. Just be matter of fact about the entire situation. Then if she qualifies herself to you, you make her earn back your favor slowly. Definitely be hitting on other chicks though, ESPECIALLY if she is around. It's time to be a bit of a jerk here, because that's what this situation calls for.
And if she's a btch about it don't hang around. You will look worse for it. Move on.
