im a 10th grader at a collegiate high school and i have a problematic situation haha. theres this girl at my school, "carla", who i met maybe 2 months ago and became goods friends with her. up until about now, figured she liked me. i tested her with lame jokes and she always laughed like they were hilarious. i also would randomly walk away from a group conversation and half the time she would follow me, asking where i was going. but, one of my guy friends, "drew", has a pretty big thing for her and asked me a couple weeks ago if he could ask her out cause he thought i liked her. i kinda liked her, but not enough to really care so i said it didnt matter to me. he asked her out the monday before thanksgiving break, (here we go to school monday and tuesday and get wednesday-sunday off) and she said she would "think about it". me and him both thought that was basically a no and thats how he took it. but then a couple days ago she brings him practically a list of reasons why they cant date. she said she liked him, but wanted to stay friends for now. the main reason was they are both 15 (im 16) and therefore cant drive alone to see each other (until she is 16; her birthday is in january). carla lives about an hour away from me and drew. i didnt tell drew this but i saw this as a cop-out (what do you think?). while all this is going on, i realized that i now have strong feelings for carla (i know, perfect timing). so even though carla said she liked drew, i figured it for a lie and i want to ask her out.

What do all the don juans think i should?

thanks for reading my long post :p

Yeah man lol thats a cop out by the girl, but she has got pretty valid points, the girl don't wanna be entering into something like that.

So really it might not be a cop out but chances that it is are really high man.

Do what you like bro, if "drew" lol is a good mate and would be pretty pissed off if you tried something with her maybe think a little on it, but other then that do what you like bro, do what's best for you.

DO NOT tell her how you feel.

And secondly, this chick is an hour away; is it REALLY worth it to go out with someone that far away? Plus, to me it seems like your in the same exact situation as "drew": the friend zone.

And yes of course thats a cop-out, shes just makin excuses to not go out with him. Girls do that ALL the time lol.

Idk man unless this chick is really hot and you know you'll be gettin laid, I wouldnt invest all this time and effort for a crappy relationship with a girl who lives an hour away.

This.
DO NOT tell her how you feel!!!!! Get this mentality you got from watching Friends about how telling a girl how you feels will somehow make them fall head over heels for you. It doesn't work! Trust me, been there, done that etc.
