Let's talk about something fellas. Freedom. No, not the all-american 'i don't have to **** in a hole in the ground anymore' freedom. I'm talking about freedom of the mind.
When it comes to having confidence in yourself, i think a lot of people disregard the idea that when you feel freedom, nothing can stop you. Has anyone ever taken a long drive just by themselves to clear there head? All you have is the music and the road underneath you, it sounds cliche and corny, but it's an amazing feeling.
Most of the more experienced DJ's will tell you not to lead someone on that you don't want to lead on and be very upfront about your situation, be very direct and honest about your intentions. This is an example of being free in your mind because it does not matter what the other end says or thinks about it, in no way can it influence YOUR LIFE. This is probably the best advice when you're just starting a bit of game and have low inner-core.
Women are attracted to guys who can think free, act free, and not give a **** what the guy/girl/dog next to them thinks about them. They are who they are. The funny and ironic part about this, is that your objective on being free has nothing to do with attracting women.
A free mind will take you places that you didn't know you could go. Be free about your work, free about your social life, free of obligation and commitment to anyone but yourself. You are in your career because that is what YOU love to do. You are with someone at that moment and time because that is where YOU want to be.
But TRSX, you sound like you're talking about ARROGANCE.
No my friend, there is a fine line between being a complete d!ck about holding onto your beliefs, and actually believing in them. We shouldn't try to act like we believe in something if we truly dont. We are not free in that manner.
So next time you're at a beach, and think to yourself "I'd really love to go jump in that water , but i'm afraid she'll think that i'm just some fool.." - Free your mind of consequences, of her, of the thing in the back of your mind that's holding you back, and jump in the water. You will be glad you did.
Do not lose yourself to anyone. Do not lose what you believe in. Do not miss chances because you restrict yourself to what you 'think' you can and cannot do. Freedom is the best game.
LTR's are a different ballgame because you start to adopt the other person's freedoms, however this is more for the guys that are out there trying to find their own confidence.
