At some point soon, we are going to have a presidential candidate who makes a campaign promise to legalize weed at the Federal level if elected. I don't think that has ever happened, but it is coming. The rumors are that Hillary will do it in her second term as president. I don't think she needs to make the promise, though. This election is hers to lose. She has killed everybody in every poll done so far. My prediction is that Hillary beats Jeb Bush with the typical red state/blue state split, 55-45%.

I'm hoping Obama will at least reschedule weed before he's gone. What does he have to lose? Do it don't half ass it and leave it as it is now.

I still say Obama is better than Bush. I am not a huge fan of Obamacare, but I am not one who needs it or is forced to buy it. If you were poor and needed Obamacare, your tune sure would change now wouldn't it?

the problem isn't so much obamacare as much as it is, being forced to buy into an already f'ed up healthcare system.

the reason that universal health care works everywhere else is that health care costs in other countries wouldn't cost you a second mortgage.


I told this story here before. My wife is British. when she was pregnant with our son, it would have cost about 25-30 thousand dollars to have our son here in the US. And if I had to I would have paid it, but instead we went to her home and had the baby over there where she's covered. It costs about 5 grand to have a baby in England. It costs about 25k here.


The problem is not obamacare the problem is that you are being forced into a system with absurd doctor fees.
