This was a hinge date and before I get into it

I have been off the apps for 6 months doing non stop cold approach but I thought with the seasons changing I would give hinge another chance

I tend to let women "like" me and then I'll decide wether or not I want to match them

This cute looking 25 year old HB 7 likes me and her values seem to align with mine , I give her some banter and she takes the bait after one day I tell her too send me her number and ill call her

we have a 1 hour phone call Friday night , she's in university studying to be a vet ( 8 year degree) her schedule sounds chaotic travelling back between uni and her hometown and although she insists she's looking for something serious I quickly realise there is no way on this earth any guy is going to be able too fit into this lifestyle

She also tells me past guys haven't met her expectations....

so yea a couple of red flags but she says she will drive to see me Sunday (today) so I think why not

She arrives at the date 20 mins late which I tell her I'm not happy about ,when she arrives she does actually look like her pictures is absolutely tiny (5ft) but also has a very high pitch voice and is LOUD ....... I wouldn't say she instantly passed the boner test nor would I go out of my way to approach her ......but she's defenitley fvckable

within about 15 mins I get the impression she has a VERY high opinion of herself ......I won't qualify it though and I can tell its bugging her

We go and grab a coffee and sit down ,the conversations decent and she's playing with her hair A LOT which I take as a good sign

I did say something about ladies not traditionally being LOUD and she didn't like this at all , there was a good few instances where she was actively challenging me for authority of the Frame (this wasn't sh1t testing she genuinely believed she should be the one in charge here)

I wouldn't back down and carried on talking about what I wanted to talk about , I was dropping innuendo where I could and touching her where I could she didn't stop me but wasn't giving anything back

We finished the coffee pretty quickly and as she had traveled I suggested we move on too a games bar ( thinking this may loosen her up a bit ) ,she agrees and she does loosen up slightly showing me her belly button piercing and dropping a few innuendos herself

After 2 hours we wrap it up , I say I'll walk her back to her car

we get back to the car and I tell her I'm going to kiss her she gives me the dreaded cheek ( I pretty much know its game over at this stage )

Like 10 mins after leaving me she calls me ??? , I missed the call as I was doing something

then an hour later she messages too say the standard "had a nice time but didn't feel a connection" which to be fair neither did I ......I just wanted sex

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Conclusion

This wasn't a terrible date it was a battle at times but I did relax and enjoy myself

Unfortunately this was another classic swipe app girl looking for something that doesn't exist

This girl seemed to want a successful guy who knew what he wanted YET AT THE SAME TIME a man that would just basically do whatever he was told and wouldn't challenge her on anything

She was from a pretty much all female household which told me she had absolutely no idea how to handle masculine authority or even masculinity itself she wanted a feminine and submissive guy to do as he was told

I basically told her during the date what she wanted doesn't exist and she should focus on just being a woman who fits into a mans life she will be happier

maybe she will take something from it IDK , I know I will I won't be going on any more dates with these competetive, feminist types

I always enjoy a good field report, thanks for sharing. Curious what type of vet she wants to be? Dog and cat type, or large animal/livestock?

Are we thinking she likes horses?

Haha! No I actually wasn't going there. I was just picturing her climbing into a pen of cattle with that loud shrill voice and watching them scatter.

She did like horses and owned a few , came from family money and they had 50 acres of land which in the UK is a lot

Large animal from what I could gather

There was some elements about her that I liked , but not enough to warrant her attitude

I think when we first met she was pretty keen on me because I asked her how long she had and she looked at me and said "oh I think I'll have a couple of hours "

Most women wouldn't say this if they weren't happy with what they saw , they would want to leave asap

She was right thought we just didn't have enough of a connection or chemistry to warrant it going any further

Sometimes no amount of flirting or game can force something that isn't there

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was pretty glad I turned this around from match to in person date within 3 days , and with swipe apps I would advise following this strategy because honestly its SO different talking to a picture of someone compared to actually seeing them in person

I know some guys will chat for weeks on the apps only to meet and it to accumulate into nothing like this did ^^^

You need to get her on the phone and meet her asap.

Could've saved yourself a whole lotta time by immediately filtering this girl out as soon as the flags presented themselves in your initial convo.

That's a really well-written FR. It really helps to layout how the red flags popped up along the way during the meetup and to see where it ended and the final result. Women are the architects of their own destruction these days. You can see why she's perpetually single.

yeaI suppose but I always like to meet people in person anyway

Women tend to put on a lot of bravado online that doesn't always transpire in person

in this case it did and I could quickly tell we weren't going to be compatible in the long run but one date isn't the end of the world

I still tried to get sexual with her which at a few points I think she was starting too think about it

She will become a financially successful Cat/horse lady given her field of work lol.

Good report, read really well. This girl reminded of a chick from a year ago. Constantly tried to control frame, was very self important (was a brand new public school teacher o_O) and would put up a wall whenever I would lead. She was prickly, but very attractive. She pretended to be upset when I wouldn't let things slide, but she lapped it up. Decided not worth it, went distant on her, she tried to come back and I declined politely. She asked why and gave her the "we're not compatible" which really meant you are too competitive, disagreeable and hate men, but are attracted to them.

Thanks yea

I think a lot of people in todays world use their career / money / status to over compensate for a lack of actual character

I meet so many people that constantly remind me of their profession as if its supposed to impress me or something

I usually couldn't care less

There was nothing really special about this girl , ok a VET is a very prestigious and rewarding career but you can't base your entire personality off it which is what I think this girl was trying to do

Laying in the cut
Did you get any inclination in your app chat that she was as self involved and dry as she comes across in person?

She isn't even a vet yet, so any already held attitudes in relation to it come off as phony and not deserved. A friend of mine used to say he was a doctor and got very uppity about it. No, he was studying to be a P.A and later dropped out anyways.

I dislike when people open with their career and make it appear very illustrious or prestigious when it isn't. I notice women often treat their occupational title like it is some marvelous award showing their worth, no you just have a job.

Modern girls be like
"o_O WELL.... I studied at UC Spaghetti and went onto to get my certification in Meatballs and work as a 'consultant' and run my own business as well".

Translation: " I went to college and work a normal job, I occasional cut peoples hair" lol

Men do it too, but not to the same extent. When people ask about my work I often downplay it and turn the conversation elsewhere.

This woman and future vet will grow up to have cats that run away the first chance they get.

Very good read.

Sums of what I believe to be most male dating experiences.
