good pickup that is some suave djing. as for the the coffee date comeon now its like two bucks i would just pay to have some class. you cant be too cheap its not like your taking her on a cruise or nothing. keep up the good work hope it works out for ya.

ANOTHER UPDATE...
ok, so maybe i jumped the gun. supposedly she did have phone problems. "i got really sick and i couldnt drive to go pay my phone bill so they shut it off." so thats cool, when i talked to her she was at a party and so was i. i told her i would call her back later, which she took to mean later that night. i had to explain to her how i wouldnt be able to get back to her until monday (that was friday).
i called her tonight and she didnt answer. i left an afc type message on her phone: "give me a call back and maybe we can get together later this week". i knew it was afc but i didnt really care. i thought if she's interested, she'll call back. she did call back a couple minutes later.
we started chatting a little and she says something about her phone cutting out, which it obviously was. but before that she was obviously trying to gauge my age. she said that sometimes she likes to go to a local casino to watch monday night football. i knew this chick was at least 22, i could just tell. then she asks me if i've ever been there. i tell her the truth: i was there when my company did some remodeling work and that i was planning on going this friday actually. i turn 21 thursday, so it would actually be my first time there.
she said she'll call me tomorrow. i doubt she will as her IL seems to be lowering quickly. i told her my only free night we could get together would be sunday night. she kinda avoided the topic by saying that she's always busy too...
we'll see what happens, but im not really worried because for the first time in my life i have 3 realistic prospects within my grasp, and my social proof continues to expand. things are good. thanks guys.

Golf, I like how this all started. The library pickup puts you in a rare class that most guys don't have the guts to even try for.
I think later on you did a few things that alot of guys will typically do. Yes it may have lowered IL, it is really hard to say without seeing you in action with the girl.

I disagree this kind of story does not need the ending " she came over to my place and we fvcked all night long".
It was a good read Francisco I am glad you bumped that story.
As you can see Golf is like the majority of the guys here. They know their DJ stuff but on occasions they end up reverting back to their AFC's way. The good thing about, Golf was able to analize his own dating mistakes and now knows how to handle himself for the next girl.
The more you do something the more natural you will seem and therefore you will need to get a few rejections until you get better at your game. Its rare for a guy to strike gold the first time around.

Hey, it still can be inspirational without one. Whenever we make an approach we have no idea on how it's going to turn out. When things seem to progress, we have no assurance that we are going to be successful.
We make the most of the experiences we have, this was one of a successful approach done in a place that many guys feel is not conducive to sarges. This FR proves that anything is possible.

Yeah, I was kinda hoping for an ending or some type of resoultion...
Also, I wouldn't call and hang up without leaving a message. Cell phones have caller ID so they know you have called, just leave a simple message asking how she was doing and leave your #. When they have high interest, they get back.

Well, you made your aproach, but this still isnt a success story, neither a field report.
You did great aproaching, only bad thing was she having her test, but u did ok on saying u'r leaving to let her study, and she said no, that's cool.
U got a date, pretty cool. Now we all wanna see you make the real move, and make it become a success story. Definitly make a move on the next date.

This post was about a RAFC. Any guy who has the balls to make an approach at a place that self professed DJs think is a waste of time is successful in my book.
Too many RAFCs shoot themselves in the foot by feeling failure because the encounter doesn't go perfectly. They never appreciate the things that they've done right.
This FR was a success, he approached and closed in one form or another. All that didn't happen well enough was qualifying, that's another skill altogether.

i was readin ur post and i figured we're also on same skill level and doin even the SAME THINGS!! lol
anyways.. i'm just here mentally supportin ya, givin you a *high 5* and, let you know we're interested in how things will go..
my key pb is also post approach.. i think i mess up a lot after i get a contact close and do a follow up..
