hey guys. second FR. Getting more confident 
so, at a 21st last night. I know the guy a little bit, but mostly know him through my other friend, who does the same course as me at uni. so, I get there, I know maybe 3 people there, but I start chatting with randoms, having a great night (confidence was sky high). So I spot this HB8 with a seat free next to her. I go over and introduce myself, find out a little about her. Turns out she is studying nursing. So I give her a hard time about nurses being medical school rejects and sh*t. She was laughing and playfully punching and rubbing my arm. So a good song comes on and I get up to dance (deliberately without asking her to join me). She watches me for a little while, then gets up to dance a little away from me, watching me as if hoping to get invited to dance with me. Oh, i love it....
Eventually I tell her i'll dance with her, since she's been angling for it so hard. I just say, i'll be back in a little while. She's like 'okay!' all happy and sh*t. So I go outside to smoke a cigar with some guys I had met there, and we're having this great convo when she comes out looking all hurt and says to me 'I thought you promised me a dance..." I smile, take another drag on my Montague No.2 (excellent cigar ) and pass it to my mate. I grab her arm, pull her closer to me, and look into her eyes and say "If you're that desperate, i'll indulge you." She punches me again and leads me to the dance floor. So we're dancing, and I just slip my phone out of my pocket, pass it to her without a word, and she smiles and punches in her number.
So, later, i'm talking with some of my boys and she's there too, when this guy comes up and hugs her and says something in her ear. Well, it turns out that this guy is her boyfriend, but kinda...not. He's really weird...like, they don't kiss, they don't do anything together...its like a relationship of convenience. So I ask my friend about this, and he says that he's not even sure Alex (her bf) even knows what to do. This guy is so AFC he isn't even INTERESTED in sex. So I figure this is an easy steal. She smiled at me after her bf left as well, so thats a good sign.
Kinda disappointing really. A little TOO easy (not being ****y or anything, everyone here would have thought that too). You boys know what i'm talking about: a lot of the thrill is in the chase huh?
So i'm gonna call her in a few days.
