these are weak filler words that people with low confidence use either intentionally or out of habit. or at least it seems like they have low confidence when your the one hearing sentence stuffed with filler words.

that said its not necessarily a lying symptom (in fact, its not even a low confidence symptom). i used to talk like this a lot until I've learned more about passive/active writting and weak filler words.

Like In dating these words indicate low interest "probably", "maybe", "we will see", "perhaps"...

How about "I'll think about it."?
I was trying to think about others, yes "i'll think about it", "probably","maybe", "we will see", "perhaps".

What should our canned response to that be? "No that's okay, don't worry about it"
