So instead of being a loser that doesn't get any women, you've read a few articles and learned a few pick-up lines and think women are demons sent from the twilight zone to target innocent, helpless men. Now everything is ok, right?
I will tell you how reading this stuff cost me my first attempt at getting laid and how I had to drop the generalizations and women-bashing.
So there I was, new to the field, dating a HB that looked like Courteney Cox, only 26, not 40. I was told by people on a neighboring pick-up site that I was being used for attention and money. Keep in mind I'm jobless, have no money to my name, and just decent to cute to some women, average and unattractive to other women, so in other words I'm no male model. But still, according to them, I was being strung along by an AW and should call her out on her behavior. So I tell her what's on my mind (or rather what I had been brainwashed by) and a week later she dumps me, saying that I was full of generalizations about women, paranoid, and what's going to happen if her and I have sex, am I going to accuse her of just wanting attention?
Now keep in mind, I'm not saying this woman is an angel. It's actually a good thing this happened because we weren't compatible at all and if we had had sex, I probably would have got attached and who knows what would have happened then. But I am saying that she wasn't an AW and that KJs that have probably never felt a breast before cost me a possible opportunity at losing my virginity to a Courteney Cox lookalike.
After a month or so of self-reflection and a change of beliefs...basically the decision to take it one woman at a time and not generalize them until they give a concrete reason to not be trusted...I went out in the field again and eventually lost my virginity to a HB that I dated for a few months.
Since then, I've been playing the field a little, just taking things as they come. And what I've found is, 99 percent of the stuff on this site is BS written by virgins in their parents basement. It's easy to read this site and others like it and a few David DeAngelo books and "think you know it all" without even having been on a date or seen a naked woman before other than your mother or sister, but until you actually get out there - and I don't mean going to clubs, asking a few girls to dance and getting rejected and saying "all women are *****es" - you have no idea how much overanalyzing is involved on pick up sites like this one.
Women aren't angels, but the number of actual gold-diggers/AWs/impossible to have a normal conversation with women are a small percentage. And why would you want to talk to such a woman anyway? Most likely for her looks, right? So what makes you worthy to talk to her, because you know a few corny pick-up lines and you've studied what jocks and alphas around you act? She can bang mostly any guy she wants, why would she chose your broke, wimp, wannabe a$$?
I don't agree with the current "looks are everything" thread, but I agree with the underlying point that this stuff is written by comic-book nerds or married men. Think about Rollo Tomassi for a second? He's 40 and married and gives advice like he's Hugh Hefner. Would a girl that wants to be more appealing to guys take advice from a woman that's out of her prime and been out of the game for years? Things changed since the 1980s when all you had to do was have poofy hair and sing Winger songs to seduce a woman.
Taking any advice on sites like this is dangerous because it is flawed, general information that can be easily challenged. Yes, hot women can be difficult, but not all for the same reasons. All women have a different story. And saying "All women do this, all women do that" is just making it harder for yourself because you think the woman is doing something that she isn't.
If you want to get laid or have a hot girlfriend, all you have to do is be a confident man. You don't need corny lines or to be James Bond or the center of attention. You just need to be the best you possible.
