Speaking generally here, and not about the bubonic plague: Our antibiotics are slowly becoming less effective. Bacteria mutates over time so as to be harder to treat. Some are concerned that infections that are relatively harmless now will become extremely dangerous in the future because they will be so resistant to our antibiotics.First of all the bubonic plague is bacterial, so it is easily treated by antibiotics if you start early enough.
They'll find a way to have us wearing masks forever, lol.
