I've always been unsure of what tact to play when you're gaming a girl whose primary language isn't English. A lot of the Game I'm throwing at her, she doesn't always seem to understand. What tact would you play here? This most recent girl responds well to Game, but I can tell she doesn't always follow exactly what I'm saying - and the way a lot of routines and patterns are worded, it must be even harder for her than normal English.
Do you think avoiding "Game speak" altogether and just employing more straight English speech is the way to go? Or would this come across too AFC? Do you think body language becomes much more important in these situations, as you can communicate with your body rather than mere speech?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
