Unless surgeons had some type of 'vision'... they were wearing masks' long before the word "covid" was invented. We are talking about the current Covid paranoia state of things.
As to my above assertion re: "facemask have (worn by 98% percent of the pro mask crowd) has only proven their blind obedience to actual scientific facts." The 98% of face masks used by the public are not medically approved. In a crowd, you'll see 98 people out of 100 wearing non N95 masks.

In other words, 98% are no different than the Linus character (on Peanuts) walking around with his blankie... or a baby sucking on a pacifier. These non-medical masks serve as a placebo for adults that should know better, but apparently do not.

I've never worn one of these medical masks. Are you sitting down? This may come as a shock, but I've not only survived this 99.98 survival rate virus, but so far, have had no outward symptoms.

We had n95 masks in Australia widespread since the bushfires spread ash and dust everywhere, suddenly everyone was against the idea when we also needed it for the chinese virus.

I do agree the regular masks are useless and they should use n95 masks.

Also mask use was wide spread in asia because of excess pollution in the air.

Also the death rate is around 2% since the delta varient of the chinese virus. 2% of 8 billion is 160 million. Are you okay with 160 million people dying?

A year ago ago when this pandemic started people were buying whatever mask they could find as the N95’s were in low supply or gone. As it progressed they became more available.
In my environment the Few people seen wearing masks now have the best quality money can buy.
When I say Few, I’m talking about the restaurant I was at last week that seats about 100, I saw One couple wearing masks, and btw they were high quality.

The argument saying most people wear krap masks now has no bearing in fact or statistics, and is last year’s argument that’s no longer applicable unless you live in Hooterville or Mayberry.

Funniest news of the week is the man that got kicked off a flight because the only ‘mask’ he could find was a woman’s thong he had strapped on his face…

It would be fine with me if no one was ever mandated to take the shot, but when they get sick, they don't get to take healthcare resources away from everyone else. There was a guy in my town who died because he couldnt get an icu bed less than 5 hours away, because they were full with unvaxxed covid cases. These people reject science and healthcare...until they get sick, then they come begging and crying.

I don't care who is vaxxed and who isn't. But if you aren't and you get covid, stay home and die like a man. Don't turn your problem into a problem for other people.

I don't see why this should only apply to COVID. If you are fat and have a stroke or heart attack, they should just let you die and not take valuable healthcare resources away from someone else. Why should other people bear the consequences of your dietary choices? Same deal if you get injured in a bar fight or get stabbed while trying to buy weed in the wrong part of town. And if you ever get in a car accident while driving for some non-essential reason (such as going on a date with some skank), you should man up fix your own broken neck. Driving is one of the most dangerous activities one can partake it. Every year, 400,000 Americans die in car accidents, and 3.3 million get seriously injured. Can you imagine how many hospital beds are taken up by idiots who got injured because they decided to go to Burger King instead of making a sandwich at home?

It's not a matter of if I'm "okay with 160 million people dying."
It's really a matter of ... if someone has other factors (over weight, old age, a poor immune system etc...) ... are they okay with subjecting themselves to environments that may not be in their best interest?

According to today's media "science" ... I should have been dead two or three times already. Yet, despite my age, two pack a day smoking habit, etc... here I am unaffected.

Also just because your not dead from smoking doesn't mean it's the same for millions of others. Personal anecdotes don't trump facts and statistics.

Hospitals would not be "overloaded" .. if people such as yourself did not panic at experience of having a sniffle. People can and do get sick. In most cases (which includes the rona) we do not require the need of a hospital. However, these days most people are so paranoid, that they take up unnecessary hospital space.

As you are probably aware, a patient could have many other preexisting conditions, but if covid has any minuscule factor in their health, they are labeled a "covid patient" or if they expire, it's a "covid fatality" ... despite that preexisting conditions was the major contributor.

You can choose to be spoon-fed your beliefs or you can choose to look at things objectively and formulate your own thoughts.

unvac, never caugh it (then I was aware at least), was working the whole time (like the goverment would stop billing people and pushing the bussiness for money), and i'm still alive, the people who I see who was all stay at home, are the one who they work never meant something, are well paid, or was still getting paid even at home, now see the ones who still had to work and was not even in health departament of work

The window for me to get vaccinated is gone. First dose is useless against the Omnicron variant and I'll be five - six months before I'm fully vaccinated which means by the time I'm actually vaccinated, it just won't matter anymore.

I can't agree with this more. The reason people are like this with the vaccine is that CoVid has become so politicized. I don't think people are angry because lives are at risk, they're angry at your political views. But just because someone makes poor choices, I don't see that as a valid reason to deny them healthcare. That's a slippery slope to start going down. "Sorry, I didn't like your last tweet, we're refusing you service". Should we refuse healthcare to smokers? Probably some people would like to.

Admittedly, that was a poor post, because it mixed up the viewpoints with the poor health choices with every other line. I had my ideas mixed up, I should have separated them more clearly. So people who are alcoholics, drug addicts, and smokers should be denied medical services as well if they are critically ill? They do it to themselves so they must fit your criteria like unvaccinated people do...

If you were critically injured and the only help around is someone who is unvaccinated, I'm guessing you wouldn't care? Or would you and refuse help?
