For those afraid to approach..

Think of an approach as being a free slot machine with extremely good odds. Let me explain..

So you're wandering around a free casino, looking around to see which game you want to play. Would you just sit there and not play any of them? NO!! Thats free money! Sitting there doing nothing would guarantee that you lose at all the games and go home empty handed. Instead, you would run around pulling every handle and rolling all of the dice because theres absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain!

It is the same way with approaches. Inaction is guaranteed rejection so why not atleast take a chance at success?

There truley is nothing to lose unless you do nothing.

Although the message "if you dont try you automatically fail" has been hammered home again and again on this forum, you have come up with an interesting and original analogy (free slot machines) which makes a lot of sense.

I think the way you put it is excellent, and it will motivate more people to approach because it reaches them on a personal level (ie. you asked them that if they were in a casino with free machines would they play them), which is a lot more effective than saying "JUST DO IT".

Not true. There is the risk she will be a bi-tch, or that she will get really uncomfortable. If you have to work with a woman or see her all the time making her uncomfortable could be a really bad idea.

I never said anything about risk. Yeah, you risk getting rejected, but you dont lose anything. You will forget about her five minutes later and it wont matter.

I would appreciate it if people actually read the post before criticizing, especially if they are quoting something they havent read.
