Guys, I am at school from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM...I need food, and I need to know what food I should bring to help me gain weight too. Thanks.

gaining muscle mass is a combo of having a positive calorie balance and proper weight training.

Dude, just try to keep the bad fats and simple sugars down.. (you know like french fries and non-diet soda, you know the drill.. ) You know what you should be eating, so I'm not going to even go into it with you.. Anyway, other than that just eat. A lot.

Get in the habit of eating like a horse, then worry about nutrient ratios. At 15, you're not going to be droppin' dead from a heart attack anytime soon.

The problem is that I only end up eating like one sandwich and stuff...I mean, buying cafeteria food drains my wallet...and its hard to bring a whole ****load of food thats gonna last me the whole day. So I was just woderin if youall could maybe give me some certain foods to bring.

In my opinion, if you a very big breakfast and eat like a bear at 4:30, you need to worry about eating once, around 11.
The ideal would be 2 meals, what I guess you can't.
Anyway, bring yourself a good protein shake (around 40-50 grams of protein and + 700 calories) and some solid food (whatever you like, bagels, cake, loads of fruit, etc) to kill your hunger.

according to the guide im supposed to be eating 80g protein, 40g carbs but i cant get the fat levels to a decent amount as 120/.5 is 240g and im pretty sure that is waaaayyy over what its supposed to be, plus i cant find anything with high protein levels and low carb levels, any help is appreciated

It's not 120/0.5, it's 120*0.5=60 grams of fat.
Anyway, don't worry so much about nutrient ratios, make sure you get a lot of protein (over 150 grams a day, you need at least 120, not 80) and lots of calories.

Yeah im in the same situation.. i dont got alot of $ to spend on food, and the stuff at the caf is:

a. Really bad: Fries, chicken strips, instant noodles
b: Really expensive: Friggin $2.50CAD for simply a tiny 4"-wide burger and bun.. nothing else... Sure, free ketchup, mustard and mayo

I dont think i can bring a sh*tload of food everyday, i wont even be able to afford it!!! My parents dont keep alot of food at home thats readily available.

SO yeah, its pretty hard for me to do some serious bulking. I mean i have seen some gains, but they're not as dramatic, its just a bit bulgy, just toned even, not really bulked

I did get some of that whey protein stuff, i drink a couple of scoops of it in the days of workout, and the next couple of days after. **** yesterday i had like a cup of milk, and added like 5 scoops of the protein, it tastes like sh*t, but ohwell, im just hopin its doin my body good...

cool man, i just went weight training for the first time and ive never seen my muscles grow so fast, theres a little problem though, is it normal for your arms to feel like they've bin hit with a great big hammer, they're really sore, even when you slightly press them, it really hurts, especially the biceps?

Yes, it's totally normal.
The first 2 months lifting you are gonna be in pain almost every day, but then it subsides.
And it aint that bad either.

I used to get so freakin sore I couldn't MOVE my arms two days later. Nowadays I can rip the hell out of them and feel little to nothing later.

Stick with it and you'll be fine,

lol, sorry man if you read through it it evolved from what to bring to lunch to setting up a diet to arms being sore, i only replied and asked a small question but it seems to have gone totally off topic, sorry i didn't think my question needed a full thread for itself
