After a boring day, I logged onto FB, and started chatting with this girl I used to go to middle school with, but we both left, and are now at separate schools but in the same area. After looking back on it, seems like I have moments of DJ and some AFC in there. But I feel like I was able to be "the prize." Any comments welcome......

Ehh not offense man but you didnt do that well here. In this case, your flashes of AFC greatly overshadowed the very weak flashes of a DJ.

I agree with everything Eaglez said except the asking for the number part but that's not really important lol. Also 2 more things I noticed:
1. I wouldn't have said the poor/wendy's part. Honestly, do you think a girl wants to know that you can't afford her and you're going out of her way to simply feed her?
2. A way to tell if a girl is somewhat interested is if she gives longer responses and asks questions. I don't thinks she has asked you one question and her longest response was the thing about the boyfriend.



Anyway it wasn't all that bad. I mean if that was your first attempt ever then great, that was the hardest one, if not, who cares, she seems mad boring anyway haha. Also, you went straight to the point of asking for the number which could both be good and bad.

Yeah this girl is not the social butterfly, she's a keep to her self, and close friends kind of girl. Will she flake, umm not sure, i guess i will find out. After she said ok, she also said she wasn't looking for anything too serious, cause of the current bf. The odds of flaking are pretty high though right?

Seems like she was doing a hard to get thing/**** test there towards the end...

First off, if you want any shot with this girl, heck any girl at that, you cant make your only means of communication with them over the internet. That just wont work. You have to strive to use the internet as little as possible when it comes to talking to chicks. Gotta talk to them in person.

Secondly, cant you tell this chick just isnt interested? Shes giving you really short answers, and doesnt really seem to into the convo.

Thirdly, you're coming off as being extremely desperate. Like just reading this really sucks for me cuz you're just killin yourself with what your sayin to this chick.

To sum up this convo:

-You bring up national hug day, which she clearly doesnt give a sh*t about
-You strangely ask if your trustworthy, hoping that she will give you a positive answer, but she barely knows you cuz you two havent talked much and you only talk on the internet
-You throw an extremely weak sort of pickup line at her with the reference to being sweet like the nerds candy
-Then, after she already denied you TWICE (im including the tim hortons response), you ask her AGAIN to "accept", but this time she doesnt even know what your talking about

Next this chick man, its not going anywhere. Focus your efforts on gaming up girls in person.

It's not about what you say, it's about who you are. When you're DJ material, you know exactly what to say and what to do naturally. The only way to get there is by practicing.

Don't just next this girl and completely forget about her, you can even call her. What's important is that you take this as a learning experience and try not to repeat the same mistakes next time.

Here's a tip that definitely works for me. When talking, with anyone not just a girl, HAVE FUN!! Make jokes that YOU think are funny, and once in a while tease her (don't randomly make fun of her, I like using something she says and twisting it against her a lil haha). That's all it takes.
