There's a surplus of men full stop, and as a result it's a force multiplier on male thirst. Men get thirstier and thirstier, women get scarcer and scarcer. This surplus of men is the result of limited wars in the modern era. We need another WW1/WW2 to send the majority of fighting men into a meat grinder. The men who survived WW2 had a field day. We need a big cull of men in 2021 to address the imbalance of available men vs unavailable women.

The cull of men has been needed for 10-20 years. COVID-19 has not been a cull of men. Most of the men dying of COVID-19 are 60+, an age range where there is not a surplus of men.

Also, modern women are all scrambling for the top -5% of men. What most men don't seem to understand is that she will not settle for less. She will wait, and wait, and wait. She'll hit 40 and still be waiting.....all because of that one night when she was 22 and giga-Chad pumped and dumped her. She thinks that's her level of man. I'd say there are currently millions of modern women who have been alpha widowed by giga-Chads. These alpha widows can now never settle for less.

Millennial women have bought the "Never Settle!" line more so than their Boomer or Gen X mothers or older sisters. Boomer women settled at 30. Boomer women were the first large generation to have divorce available to them, though the smaller Silent Generation was the first wave of divorcees when no fault divorce started. Even though Boomer women were a downgrade from women preceding them, they represent an upgrade in attitude compared to subsequent generations. Gen X women settled at 35 and were moody about it. Now, Millennial women, raised on self-esteem boosting participation trophies in the 1990s, believe that they are entitled to whatever they desire. They are less inclined to settle and often won't do it until around 40 or older. Also, Millennial women will not stick around unfulfilling relationships as long as a Boomer or Gen X'er would have, nor are they willing to wait around to make things work. They want what they want and they want it now!

Women can't go backwards. Once she's had a certain level of man then she just can't accept anything lower than that. That's why social media has ruined it for most men today. They are trying to seduce women who are getting pumped by premier league footballers, minor celebrities, super Alphas etc.
