what are some good ones? some tips for the first date?

the only one i can really come up with (but its good) is a drink or a meal together

A good one which seems to work for me and my mates is a Starbucks. It's not expensive, lets you get to know the girl in a relaxed setting.

Guys stop being boring and taking the girls on boring meal/coffee dates. Take the girl on an action date. Make the girls have fun, she will become more attracted to you for it. You'll get brownie points for it.

Take the girl ice-skating, go to the park/playground, don't be boring, let her see your fun side.

I like that idea. Park sounds good. Push em on the swings, make them push you on the swings as a joke, get some kino in.
