Thanks in advance for any answers.

I mentioned on another thread that I have been first dating often and not feeling fulfilled with the follow up dates.

So, the other night I go out with this lady who i like a lot. We end up making out and everything seems great. I resist the temptation to take things too far on the first date etc....although I probably could have sealed it. She seemed into me and we both had a good time.

Whenever I date, I always send a text and say thanks for the evening and i had a great time.
She replies and says the same but nothing over the top and she didn't mention re-connecting

My question is: Do I leave it a few days before texting again or wait for her to reinitiate contact?

Ideas??

If you leave it for a while, you'll find out for sure if she's interested or not.

If she contacts you, then you'll know there's SOME interest. Then try getting a day 2.

That said, you could just leave it a few days and then contact her.

At this early stage it really doesn't matter.. both are good strategies under the circumstances.

Choose the one thats appropriate for the kind of personality you think she has based on what you know from your first meet, and what you think she'd respond best to.

Cheers!

Haven't done this for a while and didn't want to screw this one up.
Don't want to appear needy or over excitable but I also don't want to appear like I can take or leave it. Think I'll leave it til the weekend and drop her a line, unless she contacts in the meantime

Think of it like your a real Don Juan, you take her out. Show her a good time. When you drop her off at her car or house you say you had a good time ONCE and that you hope you can do it again. Then wait till next Thursday and ask her what she's doing that weekend because you have Saturday open. If she wants to send little thank you texts that's just great, but you should not be so concerned over if she had a good time or not, of course she had a good time!

Good advice mate!

Got a text from her late last night breaking my balls about why I hadn't called or texted....closely followed by a phone call, hahahahaha.

Lesson learned: Don't be too eager even though I felt like doing the running. A simple text at the end of the date states your interest and then leave it.

Thanks again!
