First conversation lasted 2 hours - is it good?

Please help me on this:

I met a girl online, Ph.D student in a top University.
We started our first phone conversation today.
I only planed for 5 minutes, but it ended up 2 hours.

is this good? can anyone tell me? I know the Don Juan camp suggested 5 minutes.

At one point, I said, "You must be busy with your school work these days. I dont want to waste too much of your time. Let's chat next time." But she said, "no, I am not busy at all" So we just kept chatting and chatting, Our conversation topics ranging from personal lifestyle, to school, to economics, to 4th of July...to life expediency. We sure had a fantastic conversation...

But is it good to have a long conversation the first time? what about next time? how much time should I allocate?

You might build it up too much, have expectations and make the date nerve recking... maybe even feel like now the date has to be to a certain level to be atleast as good as the phone call if not better (i.e. shoes to fill)... i.e. look at your a.ss right now thinkinga bout it and writing on here... now imagine if it was a simple conversation with a set date... now you wouldnt be stressing... keep in mind, NEXT TIME, take control of the conversation, dont ask her if she can talk, just set up a date and cut it off..

now... dont worry, its too late now.. just relax take a deep breath, and dont think about it... keep in mind, just cause she goes to HARVARD (bull**** as.s school) doesnt mean sht!!!! you need to bust game hard on her.. I fcked a Harvard medical student, she said to me "your not like the other guys, your relaxed" cause I treated her like any other girl...

which means... MAKE SURE TO KISS HER AT END OF DATE (thats a minimum).. listen to me.. NO MATTER HOW AWKWARD IT IS>. smack it on her man.. just smack it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! take control... and smak it... sht try to even take her into your room and hit it.. worce she can do is say NO.. and then you give a comback line "I respect you for it, I will call you for another date" then not call for a few days (make her think) and then call for a date like nothing happend, and try to FCK HER AGAIN lol

Thanks for the tip. I knew it was too long. But i was really difficult to hang up the phone, because we really had a good conversation. At the very end, I said, i have to go to sleep. i have to work tomorrow..

How much time is reasonable for the 2nd time conversation? How do I make the relationship one level higher? Should I ask for a date? is it too soon?

I remember there was a time when I spoke for 12 hours with my first girlfriend. I had no ****ing idea what the **** we were talking about. I think we got a phonebill for about $ 1500 that month.

I finally got to my senses when my dad bluntly asked me if she had swallowed my jizz for all the time, effort and money I'd put into all those phonecalls. When I told him no, he sadly shaked his head and walked away. That's when I realized the error of my ways.


And besides, when you talk that much on the phone, the mystery factor disappears. You end up knowing too much about eachother. Keep the convo short.

Don't put too much stock in some "dj" time recommendations. If the conversation is flowing go for it. If you're just tired of talking on the phone just tell her you have to get some stuff done and either get a date set up or leave her wondering when the next time you'll have such good convo is. None of this asking if you're bothering her or whatever. If she was bothered she'd have gotten off the phone by now.

The first time i met some chick we talked on the phone for like 8 hours (like 11pm to 7am..) and i barely noticed the passing of time. It was fun and we even had arguments about whether to beat children or not. hehe. It hardly hurt my chances as we ended up you know and she was like an 8.5. I guess looking at it now i wouldn't do it again or too often but there's no point in making up "rules" about this stuff.

Anytime you can connect with a girl worth a 2 hour conversation it is a good thing. Don't force a conversation but you can bet that if it flowed well, she felt connected.

Next time, while the connection is still strong, instead of a long conversation on the phone set up a meeting.
