In everything in life you are trying to be successful in, there is someone else who has already acheived more than you and can teach you.
When I was in high school learning the basics of animation and video editing I had a mentor who told me what to study and what to do to get my career started. We still stay in touch to this day and he still gives me advice.
In college I was close to one of my professors who taught me about multimedia and about negotiations. He let me watch him in meetings with clients and would challenge me to try things for myself.
Also in college I hung out with two guys who got more ass than the toliet seat. They taught me how to dress (by emulating how they dressed), how to talk to chics and basically how to run game. I got so much ass in college thanks to those two guys.
Find you a real life mentor in the game. Not some guru on a forum who you don't know from Adam. Who could just be keyboarding it up. Who had some success 20 years ago when the world and women were different. Find some guy who is doing it right now. Make some damn friends and learn from guys that are better than you, step up to their level.
If you can't make friends, at least watch the successful guys in your area and do what they do. Real life is where the game is played, and like someone said the other day, the game is local. What works for a guy in NYC may not work for a guy in Alabama or Bombay or AussieLand. The style of dress is local, the way women respond to particular things is local, you have to learn the general rules of attraction and then fine tune it for your local and cultural background. The best way to fine tune is to find a guy who has done it and see what he's doing that you are not. Good luck.
