Ok so its nice to b back here after a nice respite, which i hope everyone here does cause like its been said before, a good percentage of the people just come here n post to feel good about themselves, while they have no actually experience in doing the things they right about. So i dont wanna make this long but watever, this is about fights (thought about it while listening to "step up" for like fifty times, lol, however u may think dpool or the song to be, just read). Ok so i know everyone has probably witnessed a fight in school. And i know this is talked about some but (maybe) not so much. And the question of how to be popular comes up with many people here, so i give you this answer, fight someone (the person that picks on you, not just some random guy, who may not deserve it) If you were to beat someone (the alpha male maybe) then you would definitely get a lot of attention from the ladies and then respect from guys. (u can learn more about this from the new guy, all though in the end its still a movie) I know about this i fought a guy once n gave him a black eye. The next day the girls were looking me differently and talking to me a lot more. A lot of guys were all surprised and where like "holy sh.t dude!" So it just goes to say that no matter wat, violence is the way (for a dj? lol, i dunno) But fighting is greatly psychological, u have to be prepared n ready for the fight. Dont b thinking pessimissitcally (sp?) n thats basically it for preparation. haha, but u can also listen to music if u want to. So suggestions from u wud b nice but so far heres wat i can think of.

If thats your way. good for you... most of the time beating the **** out of someone doesn't get you respect and friends...

But since you enjoy fighting also try these great alternatives... backstabbing, drugs, acting stupid, being crazy, rape, join a gang... and any other fun things you can think of...

Your age shows my friend... Beating people up and spreading rumors is not the best thing to become popular... the exception if they start it or if there a real dumbass... and have been for at least two years...2 years not days....

Two reasons I say this is bad...

One you gain A LOT of enemies...
Two. Most people who fight a lot don't last that long on the outside... say about a year or two before you start seeing BAD reprecussions.
Three... Teeth are GOOD for eating.
Four... there is always someone bigger loking to kick your ass...and even if there not bigger they can use metal polls baseball bats... keys. knives and guns...

Ok, lets say youre a complete loser with the ladies. You decide to beat someone up (in hopes in that this will some how change your personality to the point where you know how to talk to girls, all because you planted your fist in some guys face).

Fighting shouldn't be a reason for anything unless its self defence (or defence of your woman heh).

This is one of the most un-intelligent way of going about gaining respect. Sure, people will recognize you can throw your fists but that wont get you much more than a supsension and you'll still be wondering how youre going to find a date.

Lets face it, girls might talk to you but that doesn't mean you know how to respond.

ok this is high school not someone in college or watever. And theres a reason i said watch who u fight cause afterall u will get enemies. n i said it myself watch out for the reprecussions. Nyway this was just a thing i was talking about for all the noobs that ask the popularity question. And i didnt mean to go fight everyone, im just talking about a one possible fight with someone. And sometimes to defend urself u have to attack, like with those people that always put u down, sometimes they dont leave u much else so u have to stand up for urself.

I think people are over-reacting to this great advice. Dude said the guy that is picking on you (ie you are NOT going around like Begbie from Trainspotting thinking you're a hard man) should feel your wrath.

A lot of this advice is common sense, which some of us lack. It is common sense to give someone a beating if they disrespect you in that manner. Look out for yourself, when some punk tries to pretend they're something special by fu*king with you, show people(girls included) that you are not a pus*y, and can defend yourself(and ultimately, your girlfriend) which is great advice.

He tells the truth, since a lot of Highschoolers don't do this(as well as they don't do a lot of sh*t thats in the DJ Bible) it's something you should all take heed upon.

Fighting doesnt work like that at my school. If so much as throw a punch you get 7 days assist which is almost like drill. also your popularity will probably last only as long as the other guy's black eye, because with most things in highschool its forgotten over the weekend

the only excuse for fighting is either in the ring(and that would be called sparring or 'frindly' fighting) or for self defense....other than that, if you try to be a hard ass going around beating ppl up youll be the biggest looser....in fact i know this guy that thats all he likes to do, just go around getting on ppls nerves wanting to fight them, and hes actually the biggest looser ive ever met...if thats your thing go ahead and fight anyone who comes across your path.

but also dont even try picking up girls cause most likely theyll be the ones that will kick your ass!

can you ****ing read what hes saying....youre saying that he wants to fight in self defense....he just wants to fight for the sake of it, and thats not good....even if someone tries to push my buttons i will try to keep my cool and dont loose my composure(which tells more good things about myself, than going off) if that doesnt work and he throws the first punch at me then a fight has to happen, and if im the one who ends up beating him up, ill be THE MAN......

Umm, that isn't what the original post suggested at all.

Is getting in a fight the best way to gain respect? Probaby not. But will it make you more popular in high school? Yes.

Not to be a bad influence here kids, but...

It is true that you would gain more respect by standing up and beating up the "aggressors" (or get beaten up trying to protect yourself)... rather than taking shlt from them and telling the teacher. Yeah... sure the bullies will be suspended or get detention or what... but your reputation would be destroyed in the process.

- I knew this guy who was always bullied... he told the teacher, bully got detention, but the victim's reputation was destroyed all the more. HES A SNITCHY WUSS AFTER THAT!!!

- I knew this muscular guy. Nobody would mess with him the slightest bit (not even jokingly) of course cuz they all knew they would get their a$$es kicked.

- I know this small and thin guy. Yeah he's thin... yeah anybody can easily beat him up... But nobody dare fvck with him cuz if you fvck with him, you fvck with at least 40 people and you would not feel safe even in your home!
