I don't get the point of field reports. What do they serve? Is it some sort of social proof for strangers online??

It's about application as opposed to just theory. Helps guys learn from mistakes too. Hard to judge fact from fiction though.

Yeah I'm not crazy about them. I mean if I wanted to know what worked in real life I'd try it out myself. There are too many variables going on. Something might work for a particular guy but he may be better looking than me, and if I tried the same thing, I'd get nowhere. All trial and error has to come from you, not from reading forum posts.

I think people post field reports less to help others and more to organize their evening in their own minds. In that way it's quite helpful. When you write down the sh*t you did and the sh*t that happened to you, it tends to clarify it to you and open up new realms of thought.

I also think it's interesting to see comments on them. They're not usually helpful but every once in awhile you'll get some enlightening nuggets posted from other perspectives.

Exactly. That is why I do them. I don't know, or really care, if anyone reads mine. It helps me think back to what I did, and what outcome I got from it. Plus, I leave myself a little note each time about what I learned after each report, and reading those alone are big motivation for me.

I read most FRs that come up here. I don't read them to "learn" much, but I read them to get the motivation. Sometimes it gives you the feeling that it's a lot easier than you make it out to be, and it gets you in the mindset to get out there and approach.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Agreed.

Writing about it allows you to see it more objectively. The feedback from others is sometimes helpful too, especially if someone else can relate to your experience. Even re-reading it YOURSELF a few weeks later can give you some deeper insights into your sticking points.

Of course, there are limitations. Like someone else said, what might work for a great looking guy might fail miserably for an average looking guy. So you can't just copy what another guy did or said.

The BIGGEST limitation is how brutally HONEST the writer is willing to be with others and himself. It's easy to post about the makeout or the lay, but not so easy to post about the rejections. But I would hope that we all could put the egos aside and post about crappy nights too.

It separates the keyboard jockey's from the dudes that actually do sh!t and know what they're talking about. Also, it's the equivalent to pro athletes watching game film: pick up mistakes they can see from their own POV as well as coaches' POV, make adjustments, and perform better next time.

Sure, you could go out, try the same thing 20 times and guess what isn't working, or you could do it 5 times, adjust, 5 more times, adjust, etc. The guys that post field reports and implement the proper feedback are usually the guys that get what they want and go ghost. They come back later to see what's going on and drop knowledge/pay it forward.

The best part of field reports is not breaking down the successes, it's actually breaking down the misses and what you can learn from them.

The point is to learn, not to brag.

Variables play a key role, just like in calc class. Everything changes depending on the equation (that being the girl) and what the result will be (that would be sex or fapping at home to martha stewart's homegoods show ).

Don juans are like scientists. They study the theories then they conduct experiments. The field report is the lab report. It's the review of what happened, what you did, and what should be learned. Just remember, different women are like different elements. They all react to you bond differently. Some of your chemical bonds will be more reactive, others not so much.

It's important to know when to do what, not just repeat the same experiment with a different element expecting the same result.

Some excellent replies here, gentlemen. I'm sold. I'm going to post some FRs even though I feel self-conscious about it (stupid, I know, but there it is).

Ironic that your telling Solomon to "grow up" and your a 35 year old man trapped in a 20 year old kid's mindset.
