by the way, good job on de-escalating the situation and not letting your ego get in the way. people are crazy and they punch or shoot you for no reason.

Yeah over the years I have gotten better at not getting confrontational. Once you have gotten laid enough, you see yourself as above all that. Most dudes who get into bar fights are losers that suck with women anyways. Plus I kind of felt happy for the guy who is older with a sugar baby, I mean good on you bro, I'll go approach other women.

I do this at the grocery store and mall when doing approaches there. I'm less likely to do this outdoors. However, all my non-bar approaching is done in part of my city where there is a big concentration of unmarried people.

Even when you do approaching in unmarried areas, plenty of people are still attached.

Thank you for the insight that pool parties attached to a commercial business are also as crappy in South FL as they are in Dallas.

Outdoor pickup from May 1-September 30 in the Sun Belt regions of the USA is pretty tough. Pool parties exist but are not a good option.
Larger, commercialized pool parties. often with DJs connected to a business (bar/restaurant, hotel) with hundreds of semi-strangers attending aren't a good use of time. In my experience, these type of pool parties tend to be bigger sausage fests and don't usually live up to the hype as a pickup option. I'm exempting the Las Vegas hotel/casino from the previous 2 sentence analysis. My experience is solely based on the Dallas pool party scene.

Pool parties are better at smaller apartment communities or private residences where it is more social circle game.

Does anyone know the reasons why pool parties that are in commercialized locations (bar/restaurant, hotel) with hundreds of semi-strangers attending aren't a good use of time? Before I moved to Dallas, I read about one well known Dallas pool party scene online. This place has been doing pool parties for decades. Anyway, I went soon after moving and a couple of other times over the years and it has always been a sausage fest. The reputation of it online is incredibly overstated. Maybe it was good multiple decades ago.

I'm thinking that most are inefficient and possibly ineffective for pickup. In the book "Day Bang", which is over 200 pages, Roosh only spent one page discussing beach pickup and 0 pages on pool parties. "Day Bang" was the most comprehensive daygaming manual when it came on the market in 2011. If pool parties were a more meaningful source of lays, it would have been covered in more detail.

It is likely true that the smaller, apartment complex parties of maybe 15-25 people are likely better than hundreds of semi-strangers at a bar/restaurant or hotel pool.

A life changing moment I had was at a small apartment birthday party. This Jacked Rodeo guy dropped in to say hello and this guy made the biggest imprint in every girl's head for the 5 minutes he was there. Afterwards, I went from muscle bulking to looking lean lol.

I would have told that old guy to shut his mouth, but mature dj is correct everyone has a gun in Florida. I’m with my cousin and his friend for 2 days before I even realised they were carrying concealed guns. My other cousin had a ruger in his Maserati he would take out and leave at home depending on where we were going. It’s a different world, didn’t stop me getting into a fight in wynwood I’m sure I would have got shot. If I lived there a gun would be my first priority. “It’s Florida everyone has a gun so you better be strapped” is the general consensus.

Never apologize to someone coming up to you like they are going to kick your ass. By doing so, you give him a blank check to continue on with that behavior. It's not your fault that his wife talks to other men. That's a problem between the two of them and it isn't your problem. I'm not saying to be overly confrontational with the guy, but just laugh it off. "How would I know?" is a better answer than an apology.

Hindsight is 20/20 and it is easy for anyone to armchair quarterback at this point. Props for gaming and lesson learned I hope about deflecting conflict.

I felt bad but yeah, I emboldened the old dude for sure. TBH, I deep down felt happy for the man at first but he clearly felt insecure. Appreciate the advice.

Not fun at all, obviously. First experience I have had after doing daygame for months which was just awful. However, as bad as it would have been, your boy is not going to play Golf on weekends or chug beers with normies. Jesse Pinkman games on! So much to learn though, I could have been more selective in approaching here.

I've never had a fight from pickups but a few close call. Fighting is anti game.

Was she wearing a ring? I always look. Fellas will snub a man. A guy on the old rsd forums got bottled doing his impression of jlaix beast mode. Hit on a guy's wife. Got bottled in face. Shards of glass in his face like two face from batman. Horible upload of pics from the ER.

Was once a few drinks in during my earlier days. Girl was drinking. Turned out she was married. Grabby. My buddy was older and married. If he wasn't there i likely would have railed her but it was have imploded my circle. I would be the bloke who bangs married women. I avoid the sauce now a days. I'm cognizant of my environment.

Better days ahead. I am happy it didn't end bad.

I think it depends on the location. Ibiza is great. Vegas too. There's also a great deal of distraction at pool parties. I had good experience down south too. Not horrible but not the best either. Logistics isn't great unless you free bag it in the bush.

I always look at their hands. Creepy long nails turn me off. Same if a girl has crud under her nails. It doesn't have to be a big deal but it is a great way to mitigate fights. I go after a younger college she demographic. It's what turns me on. 1 in all my time was engaged. Age 19. She is hot. I ended up going after her cute friend after who just broke up with her bf.

Theres things I do with girls especially in clubs. If you saw Austen Summers recent infield, I do something similar, and it's why kino was always a huge staple in pickup. A small change can compound results. Acquire kino however off rip familiarize tough from go. It also tests compliance. You can check for a ring in the process.

Bro I'm glad it didn't pop off or turn violent. Blue pill plugged in goofs can be alpha and crazy. It's another story and life experience you got.
