Field Report... first in a while.

After work today, I decided that my shoes were crap...

After having a little bit of fun with the clerk, I purchased a pair of k-swiss classics (I've been told that classics are 'good' shoes to women).

Then, on my way to meet my friend, I realized the hunger, and a little while to spare... I got a little bit of grub, and walked toward a seat, when on the way, sitting alone is this cute little girl that gave my some good eye contact. Unphased, I walked right past her, and sat down a few tables behind and away from her, and started eating. A few moments later, I noticed that she looked at me again, I knew it was on.

Here is the point where I would often choke... sit there, trying to think of something 'witty' to say, but not today. I considered my moves for the next 30 seconds, visualized myself approaching.

I quickly scooped up my belongings, and walked towards her table, looked her in the eye, "Let me sit here..."

"Sure", she quickly replied with a smile on her face.

Undaunted I sat down, "It's much better eating with company."

The conversation continued, for a few minutes... untill she finished her food... "I have to be going soon though, I've got a meeting... blah blah blah"

"I don't know if this is a stretch, but give me your number and we'll get in touch sometime..."

"Yes." she replied.

Now, I'm not sure if this will go very far, because she thought that I was the age of her younger brother... and I'm 3 years younger then that. lol.

PS : This is a first mall #close for me... almost all my other activity has been in the bar, so this feels good.

Awesome job! It's great that you didn't over analyze the situation and just went for it. What kind of things did you talk about?

I'm curious: how old is she and how old are you?

She started by asking if I worked at the mall... Then she mentioned the school nearby... so we started talking about her studies. Then, She started asking me questions again.

She told me that she was in International Development studies, so I made a little joke about picturing her digging a well for some third world village, then she tells me that she did that once!!!

It went really well, but after asking for her number, then she told me that she thought I was her brothers age... 23. I said told her to guess again, she guessed twenty... which is correct. She said' well i'm 27." She looks barely 18, I'll say that much for sure.

I'll give her a call on Sunday.

Last night we were supposed to go out, but I got stood up... next!

This is funny, because this is the first time that I've been stood up... but continued on my day completely unphased. Sooo much easier considering I've got about 3 other prospects that I'm working on.

Don't bring up age at all. If confronted, redirect the question, i.e.:

Girl: You look like my little brother.
Pimp: You only get to be young once. I enjoy stretching my youth.
Girl: Ha! Don't we all?
Pimp: Oh yeah.
At this point, redirect.
Pimp: Some people take it overboard though, like Michael Jackson.
Now move on to how modern-day America is devoid of culture.

The thing is, at that point, I really had no idea how old she really was... and, I am not willing to lie about my age, as I'm not after the ONS, I am after a relationship. Sooner or later, she would find out how old I really am, and that wouldn't look good... even though, by then it may be possible to downplay.

You can't be honest all of the time, but age is one of those things that is not really worth lying about.

Epsilon - She brought up the age factor... and I don't mind losing a chance with a woman that finds that important, because the person that I'm looking for won't care about such things.

I would guess that she was expecting me to approach, just with the eye contact and everything.

Despite the end result; this has been one of the best PU's that I've ever personnally pulled off... it felt almost 'by the book'.

Hey Pimp,
You PU reminds me of me! Here's a question for you: would you have approached her if she didn't give you any eye contact at all? Everytime I approached a girl eating lunch and asked for their number I got it, but I never received eye contant at all, these were straight up cold approaches.

If I would have noticed her glancing my way, but with no eye contact, yes. Otherwize no.

I basically stopped doing cold approaches, I usually will only approach women that I've noticed checking me out, or that give invitation signals. I approach fewer women like that, but the women that I do approach, I usually get good reactions.

I've really been working on the hesitation thing for a while, and this is what's worked best for me... so far.
