Field Report : Clubs Suck.

Circumstances conspired last night, and I ended up going to a club with 2 friends. This was my first time going clubbing.

I got more rejections last night than I have ever gotten before in my LIFE. I swear every chick there had a ***** sheild up HARDCORE. Like, I'd try and start a convo, and they would run away, or be rude. I have *never* had that happen before, with every girl I'd talk to.

I'd never been to a party or anything to dance, so this was also my first time grinding. I went out there and tried, but the club was playing rap music. Which confused the heck out of me, so I couldn't figure out the beat to the music (I don't listen to rap). I didn't do well, since I couldn't really keep the beat. One girl I danced with for a while, and she at least didn't ignore me like the other girls, so I tried to start a convo, and she ran away.

Oh, and they played 2 techno songs. During those 2 techno songs, me and a friend busted our dance skills for music that we *do* listen to, and got a healthy crowd. I think the moral of the story is that I need to go to a club that plays techno.

If they blew you off then they weren't attracted to you in the first place. Try to catch girls giving you eye contact, then go talk to them. So....try selecting the girls you "talk" to a little better.

Well there's something wrong with your approach if they are rude/running away. Never happened to me.
You just need to practise.

Ïf you do it when you see that a girl is sending signs that she's interested and you do it right way. They have to be at least polite.

And rap music is quite simple as techno. OK maybe techno is simplier because there's those little beats within, but the beat is almost always the same during whole song. So if you have a little clue, then first try to dance slow with the 'big' beats.

But anyways. You got more rejection than you've got before in your life? So what.
Clubs aren't that different.
Maybe you were too agressive and you were little nervous because it was your first time.
Don't stop clubbing!
Next time just relax and repeat the basics of approaching from DJ Bilbe to your head.

DUDE! You've got it all wrong man.

Clubbing is awesome! Think about it...

1. There's an ass load of hot women there. If there ever was a place for a DJ to mack, let him loose!

2. You DON'T even have to start a conversation with the girls there. Girls go to clubs to dance, not to talk. All you have to do is go up to them and take their hand and start dancing...and if she's already dancing and you're not, just walk up behind her and grab her thighs and start to grind. There is seriously no easier place to approach women than at a club.

3. More than half of the people at a club are drunk! This goes for both guys and girls...so more times than not if you do end up talking to them you don't have to do much work...just say hello and ask for her name and number and you'll get it. Remember, you meet them at the club...you go out with them somewhere else.

and finally...

4. Girls like guys that dance. They love guys that are good at it. I go clubbing all the time, and I'm a sh*tty dancer. Still...I get better every time I go, and most girls don't care what type of dancer you are. It's the easiest place to apply kino you'll ever find as well.

I think your problem was that you were running your mouth instead of hitting the floor...usually I'll approach a girl, whisper in her ear after a minute or two my name, then dance for a half hour or so...then move to a place where you can hear better, and talk for a minute or two, get her digits and move on.

Don't give up on the club scene dude, it's a great place to meet some hot ass biatches.

i think it was SexPDX who said that clubbing is no place for a DJ

it is almost all based on looks, and its a place where an AFC could do well

when i go clubbin, which aint that much i use the c&f approaches, and when im dancin i let that speak for itself.

i do think though that a good variety of music makes dancing more fun

i pick girls up, and yes there is a big looks part there, but then u have to keep them interested enough to spill the digits.


For origianl poster- read out nice colelction of club threads in bible.
go to clubs more, learn how to dance to rap, and there are not many clubs who just play techno, it is generally rap with a mix of techno sometime.

Are you sure you spoke loud enough? The music is so loud in all those places, it's nearly impossible to hear anybody yell, never mind make conversation. If you could somehow pull her away from the dancefloor over to someplace quiet; of course, this could either frighten or piss her off if she doesn't know what you're intentions are. Just keep having fun and dancing with girls; don't expect too much.
