Horrible things have been done in the name of Christianity, but its doctrine in and of itself isn't violent like Islam. Jesus and Muhammad were two very different people.

And beyond that, Christianity has been reformed and hasn't behaved the way Islam is now for about 150+ years.

In my mind the same exact thing would happen if president Trump died tomorrow. There'd be lots of cheering. God Forbid that would happen because in my opinion it wouldn't be good for the USA...but still, I suspect that many Americans would be cheering his death.

Leading and maintaining power are not the same things. Nothing good happened to Cuba under his regime.

He most certainly is an alpha male, though.
