So me and my fiancee have been together for over 2 years but just got engaged a month ago. She is leaving to europe on a family vacation for a month in about 2 weeks. The longest we have ever been apart is a week so a month seems like forever. Her mom planned this vacation like 6 months ago so i knew it was coming but now it is really hitting me hard. She is going to visit family so im not worried about her cheating or anything. Has anyone been in a similar situation ? Maybe you can give me some positive advice on how to pass the time?

If she's with the family she's not gonna be banging dudes. If she WEREN'T with the family then you'd probably be worried. You're probably pretty young. Think hard about whether you want to be married.

Yeah I know she's not going to be banging guys, she's been faithful for 2 years. I just want to know how other people pass the time when their fiancé/gf goes on vacation.

Really? You registered on this site and started a thread to ask how to pass the time when your girlfriend isn't around? ummmmmm....

My advice: don't get married

Also if she wants to cheat on you she will. Doesn't matter if she is on vacation, or at home, or with family etc., etc., if her mind is made up she'll do it.

How old are you? How old is your wife to be?

Im shocked at all the terrible advice in this thread. People need to quit jumping to conclusions and answer whats in front of us.

How to pass the time OP? Same as you should be doing even if she was staying here. You should never give up your passions, hobbies, interests, etc for a woman. Use this month to focus on your career and just go to work and kill it. Spend some time catching up with friends you have lost touch with. You dont really have a problem here.....

I have to agree with The Exception here.

An ex of mine (not engaged, but cohabiting for 18months-2years) went on holiday to NZ with family, stayed with family friends for like 3 weeks. Almost exactly the same sitch actually

Anyway long story short, our relationship had been a bit rocky at the time of her traveling; hence she actually started a second 'relationship' with a guy there! Pretty ridiculous when you think about it, as we were living 24hrs travel time from NZ at the time; but that is women, sometimes; purely ridiculous, to the point of oblivion.

I only found out weeks after her return when she started calling the guy when I was in the next room.

Anyway, without wanting to p*ss all over your engagement bonfire, please do not be so naive to think that there isn't at least a small chance of something happening.

Ask yourself how happy you think she is in your engagement. Whatever you do, do not ask her. And whatever you do, f*ck her the best you ever have the night before she leaves. Like an orgasm she will not forget for at least a month, preferably more than once. That's all I got.

As far as passing the time goes; use your imagination.

In fact make the most of your month of freedom. Go out and make out with other chicks, make sure you're ready to marry this bird.

To be honest, it's probably make or break for your current relationship.

Hope it works out for the best

Reeks of dependency and insecurity. If you're this uncertain and untrusting of your fiancee why are you getting married to her. You need to have faith in yourself, faith in each other in order to make this kind of commitment. You need to be doing your own thing in life and she is just one part of it. These are not healthy feelings you are having if you crumble when a girl goes on vacation for a month.

Um, you guys, he is just asking what he can do to pass time.
Yes, that shows dependency, but he's not asking for advice on what to do if his fiancée cheats on him or whatnot. He just needs suggestions on how to deal with his time while she isn't around.

To the OP, don't you have any friends, a job, hobbies?

Did you abandon all of this because of your fiancée?

If so, this month should be a good month to rediscover all of these things and take some much needed time off for YOU. You are going to be married which means that you won't be having WEEKS of "me" time anymore. So if I were you (specially during summer time), I would be making the most of it with people I know or need to reconnect with... go hit up a beach or hike, etc, etc, etc...

This should be a good time for you to realize that you DON'T need her to do any and everything in your life.

Kailex I suspect your wife may be cheating on you too. And if you don't have a wife yet then CONFIRMED! And you have not even met her yet, and she's out there with some other dudes cheating on you. I see you are on this forum so this means someone must be cheating on you somewhere! :cuss:

The next marriage quality woman you meet you must NEXT her immediately! And let her know she's been cheating on you all these years!!

Sometimes I think this forum needs a disclaimer...

Man it's really sad what the image of marriage has come to. Not everyone cheats. I've been in countless relationships and I haven't cheated once. And I wasn't asking if I should marry her or not I just wanted some ways to make the time go by faster. Thanks to whoever gave me a straight answer. And for the person that asked how old I was, I'm 19 years old and I'm a licensed realtor and licensed life, health, property, and casualty insurance agent so please don't tell me I'm not mature enough for marriage because I can't name one other 19 year old that isn't either partying in college or flipping burgers.

Tell me your fiance has her own money. If you plan on providing for her then you're well on your way to getting fvcked in the future.

You knew about her vacation to Europe 6 months ago, so you decided to get engaged to her 2 months before she went on it? Why wouldn't you wait until she got back and then decide what to do?

I think if you met another girl or two while she was away you would not be asking how to "pass the time."

And bro if you've never been a week apart and month seems like forever and she knows this, she will cut you up inside and out.
