Hey fellas, after a disappointing first week of my freshman year at my university, I've decided to make some serious changes and get motivated. This is basically gonna keep me on my top game because at the end of each day I'll be reporting back to the brotherhood about my progress.

8/24/12 - First journal entry
Friday night my friends and I drove around looking for this frat party to crash, but it had ended at 10:00 pm for some reason. We searched but found nothing else and opted to open up a game of volleyball with these chicks from another dorm.

8/25/12
Another set of buds and I headed back down Greek row to go to another party to get a buzz and pick up some chicks to smash. It was a trap. We lied our way in because we hadn't joined the facebook page or whatever, but they were checking ID's for anybody who was under 21. We had a frat connection and got in, but no drinking :/ there were alumni members as well as a couple of cops keeping watch...anyways there was a limbo contest and some dancing, but the music wasn't the best for grinding. We opened a set and chatted up these girls but they were too high to understand, I got bored and left. Just
walked around looking for something to do, and eventually went back to the dorm.

I know what I'm going to improve on; first, focus on class game as much as possible-shouldn't be hard. Plenty of hot chicks and not many other straight guys I'm a music major after all. Second, I'm going to start going to as many parties in the nearby apartments as possible since that's where the crazy stuff goes down. Of course I'm gonna work out and get fit, but I need to get more fun wherever I am. At that last party I was in my head too much since there was no way to loosen up, but thats no excuse. The life of the party should always be consistent.

don't forget, dinning hall, dinning hall, and dinning hall. great way to pick up girls.

also, the "study buddies" and "can i borrow your book?" is an easy unackward way to get to girls you got class with.

you mentioned grinding @ parties. depending on your ethnicities, you might be dissapointed a bit. i find that white/caucasian parties are 0 when it comes to grinding. they usually drink, play beer pong and socialize. if you're looking to grind, the club scene or black/african-american parties are where you should look.

Hey fellas, I'm back! Sorry about the day gap, but I was preoccupied. I'll go ahead and fill y'all in on whats been going on.

It turns out that on the weekends--particularly on Sunday--there is NOBODY at my campus lol, since it's considered a commuter university. Anyways, it was raining so everyone was inside, and the dining hall was closed...what are you gonna do? Haha, so yesterday was delegated to a "chillax" day. I slept in, read, bought my books, and hung out with my buddies watching netflix on their TV.

Well I didn't get placed in the ensemble I wanted, but it's all good. I met three HB's in my Intro to Piano class, they are as follows; HB Virgin, HB Badass, and HB Drumline. HB Virgin is named such, because I can tell she's a virgin. I sit on the other end of the room from her and I initiated eye contact, she reciprocated several times and had this adorable little smile...I just wanna caveman her to my room and do unspeakable things to her now. HB Badass is either lesbian, maybe bi, or just standoffish. Badass has a nose piercing, which I have come to equate to being down with some nasty ****...must investigate further. HB Drumline is this cute little Hispanic girl who is in the marching band. I struck up a convo with her before the prof came in, and she told me her name, but I just call her Drumline lol. It kind of pisses her off but she kept talking to me. I saw her **** test these poor chumps that were probably trying to flirt with her, so that was funny. I ****ing love musician chicks. At my math class at 7 pm, I sat next to this girl who is probably a 6. She's now HB Nosering, because of her cyan nose ring. We chatted discreetly while the prof was doing his intro spiel, and at the end of class she asked for my number. If I do pursue her, she'd just be a FB, but I bet she'd be down with that. After class, I went to the dining hall before it closed, got my food and looked for a seat. There was a table with three HB blondes, looked to be sophomores. I came over and asked if it was ok to sit down. They looked kinda shocked, and said it was a mostly empty cafeteria. I responded that there's no sense in wasting unused space, and sat down anyway. I chatted them up for about five minutes, joking and making fun of each other. I got one of their numbers, and was kinda disappointed when I didn't get the others' numbers, but when I got up to get a refill, I came back and one of the others had scribbled her number on a straw wrapper and wrapped it around the handle of my backpack. good day.

dont forget the most important thing about college..... study, study, and more studying. Dont let your GPA fail because you only want to improve yourself on women and parties. Thats a recipe for disaster. Women come second to anything else in your life. They are on the bottom of your priority list. Above it should be having fun, improving yourself, and keeping your grades well and dandy.

careful with the fake id, bruh. you can get your a55 some jail time. just stick with local house party scenes for the mean time.

one thing you could have done was find someone who resembled you a bit and used their i.d. people are always saying black people look alike, but you mention you're asian.

anyway, just try to avoid anything that involves jail at all cost, bruh. not worth it.

it's good you're finding your school work easy so far. wont be so for too long though. i promise

I thought they could only jail you if the cops were there? No bouncer is gonna call the cops on you. They have the right to have you prove your ID is real, in which case you should just let them get it, as if they prove you wrong, it may just be jailtime. Unless you live in Norway though, where it's a straight fine and on your criminal record.

HB Nosering finally texted me and I settled on a movie night where I'm coming to her dorm to watch some movies with her. Aside from that, I've made some more friends, but no serious advancements in "gaming". I've noticed that in college, if you're a male freshman it's a little more difficult to get people interested in you. I enjoy a chellenge, so I'll hopefully be able to make more frequent posts in the future. I'll be getting a job soon at the bookstore, so that will either greatly aid or hinder my movements.

becareful at the movie night in the dorm. don't do anythn to make her tell you "get the f**k out of my room!!!". obviously you'll want some feely-touchy sh1t goin on while you two probably lay on a small bed watching a movie, but just becareful you don't make her feel uncomfortable.

if you are a cashier then getting girls at the book store might not be so easy. imagine a long line, people are frustrated that they are buying way over priced books and here you are chatting a up a girl and holding the line. :trouble: :trouble: :box: :box: if you are a guy stackn shelves and helping people find books then score!!! that's pretty easy. hey can i help you with anything? then obviously show 'em around and keep the convo goin.

being a freshman isn't that bad. you might have to lie every once and then as some girls have a strict no freshman policy. one thing i've learned so far about dating, never focus on negatives. there are some pretty cool freshman. thing for u, how do u prove your worth and prob even become life of the party? are you the guy that buys the drinks and holds the pre-gaming in his room? find something to make you stand out.

Damn, it's been a minute since I last updated this thing lol. Take that as a good sign y'all haha. Since there is so much to catch y'all up on, I've lost interest in HB Nosering and Virgin....just not interesting. I've developed a system for approaching that works for me. I just walk up to a woman in a place like the common area of the dorm or something, and it usually goes something like this:
Me: "Hey, I don't think I've seen you around, what's your name?"
Her: "Hi, I'm ****."
Me: "Nice to meet you, ****. What's your major?"
Her: "Oh I'm doing ****."
Me: "Ah, you're doing ****? that's cool."
Her: "What about you?"
Me: "Oh, I'm actually doing music Ed. I sing."
Her: "Oh really? Sing something, lol."

Now, every woman I've met loves either Michael Buble or Jason Mraz, so I sing her "I'm Yours" or something and it works like a charm. Also, when I'm talking to her, I don't ever present my full torso. I usually present a slightly turned position when I'm talking to her. I think this keeps her a little more interested in me. I've had massive success this way. Every girl I've talked to has given me her number after this little "procedure", it may or may not work for everyone else lol.
Interestingly, I haven't been able to ask HB Badass for her number yet, no idea why. I just procrastinate too much I guess, but she hasn't been approached by any guys yet and she's single, so I'm thinking she may be lesbian or maybe bi? I'll give more info later. She was checking me out and we talk easily enough, so I'm sure she may be interested.

This past week I've gotten three more numbers. One of the girls I'm trying to talk to went to my high school and graduated two years before me, so she's a junior. She JUST broke up with her long-term boyfriend and lives in her own apartment. I think if I approach it the right way I'll be a shoe-in.
