I don't agree with feminism at all (heck, I'm a guy). But I think we should all stop posting about that crap here. Really, I hate the stuff they come up with. But I've given up on it a long time ago.

Remember Sept 11th? I remember reading on some feminist site that they thought the pity that was felt for the victims of that attack was unjust, because they all buy Nike's and other brands that support child labor (at least they claim this). Basically saying those people deserved to die! What a load of BS. I couldn't believe it! Feminist's like these should burn in hell!

I no longer bother trying to argue, the same goes for creationist "science". Irritates me. I think we should just forget about men-haters and worry about being DJ's. There's a lot of scummy men out there, but we're not like them. We're real men and our ACTIONS will show that we are. We will treat women the way they deserve and celebrate our differences. Thank god 90% of the population are sane.

I was eating lunch at the office the other day and two to the women that I work with (both in their 30's) were talking about a man they know in his 40's that was engaged to a 21 year old girl.

Not only was he engaged to this young girl, but she is the breadwinner. He is a stay at home husband to be. I thought this was great, so I said, "Good for him!"

The two of them looked at me with disgust and I just said, "Hey you all wanted equal rights, don't get mad when you finally get them, you can't have your cake and eat it too."

One of them gave me her evil look (I love her for it, shes like Rosanne, me and her are always having fun arguing over stuff) and the other kinda laughed and agreed with me.

Women seem to want all the rights to be a man, but none of the responsiblility. But the roles of women and man in society in America these days is changing, whether its for good or bad is up in the air but it is changing, we are just gonna have to adjust.

That moronic viewpoint has nothing to do with feminism. The author of that site just happened to be a feminist and a twit at the same time.

There are morons everywhere holding all sorts of views. You guys might want to look into what mainstream feminism is about rather than setting up a strawman or attributing the views of a few radical feminists to all feminism.

The very term feminism is an attack on males.

If you want to be taken seriously, you can't come out swinging or everyone will just go on the defensive and won't be open to what you say. So much for women being the passive sex and better capable of handling interpersonal relationships. They can't even name their movement without p1ssing people off.

Because when someone is totally secure with themself, they don't sit around pointing fingers this way or that way and allowing other people's beliefs to get them bent out of shape.

Whenever somebody get's bent out of shape and angry at someone else's belief set (unless that someone is actively trying to impose that belief set upon them--i.e. knocking on your door and handing you a pamphlet or something), they are insecure about that belief set.

Someone who is secure in their own beliefs recognizes that people have a right to disagree with them, and it doesn't affect them.
