There are squirters and there are gushers the distinction is ejaculation vs. seepage. Yes you can tell by the compression of the vaginal canal when a woman O’s. Fingering has always been easy to make a female ***/squirt - it’s not the holy grail for me. The holy grail is feeling it happen during sex. Find the angle that works.
All types are excreted from the urethra (right under the ****oris), for some individuals, stimulating the urethra itself through rubbing or pressure with your selected part of your anatomy can cause orgasms and/or ejaculation.
There are also glands that surround the vulva that excrete a creamy, translucent fluid during sexthat acts as a lubricant and antiviral/bacterial. Usually the fluid referred to when someone is said to be “creaming”. They are called Bartholin's glands. Knowing your partners anatomy can make you seem god-like.
The naysayers will say knowing these things is “Beta” and that’s OK by me broheems.

That's fairly typical in my experience too, when experiencing intense pleasure and/or orgasming. Becoming very wet.
The question is, was she squirting? Like literally squirting out?
I'm sure you've seen in porn although exaggerated for dramatic effect (as the articles states).
