hi i'm 19 yrs old i don't have any female friends and see this as a problem. I have no problem interacting with male friends but when it comes to females I'm rather clueless, I sorta stumble in my conversations and it's rather awkward. How can I be friendly with more women? thanx!

That's a very broad question. Here are some suggestions to help you confidence: go to the mall and speak to store assistants, ask their opinions etc (you can actually get into good conversations). Join a club where there are a lot of chicks. Speak to any chick you can, e.g. your friends GFs, a chick in class/at work. Just practice. Importantly, realise they are just human beings, they are not frightening and there is nothing to lose.
Take it step by step, first off build your confidence talking to chicks, then being comfortable just being around them (not feeling any need to perform/be accepted/wonder what they think of you), in the end after time you will have some chicks who are "friends".
You can have a conversation with a chick just as easy as with a guy - maybe easier, as once you get them talking they usually carry it.

Female friends are overrated....They are nice but hardly needed. My only female friends these days are my mates girlfriends and generally other unatainable females in our "friends group". Talk to women more. Just treat em like a bloke...just dont get to "blokey" on them. Treat em like a person not a piece of meat or a god as they are neither. If you need general help talking to women. Go into shops in town and ask about products and stuff. I run a phone shop and if people come in and talk you can generally get convo going. Dont stay long. Just some breif convo. Do it a few times and your confidence will grow.

USE THEM. at school, at work, whatever. use them for your benefit. i know its wrong, but it works. that will put you in mental control. you'll know that youre talking to them for other reasons then getting in their pants, thus it will make you less nervous.
