I agree with bigjohnson. It seems the coffeeshop market is pretty evenly split between guys and ladies.

I like coffee to keep me alert, so I usually get it on the days when I have classes. Most of those overpriced energy drinks taste terrible (red bull and socko in particular).

Good post. I was just talking about this phenomena the other day, every morning and lunch all these chicks wandering around with coffee cups???.

You get the occasional douche with his very own cup thrown into the mix now and then but nowhere near the vast growing numbers of coffee cupped chicks.

Was there an episode of grey's anatomy or whatever sh!t theyre watching now I missed to explain this bizarreness, wtf is going on????

Btw I have noticed if its any help, the hotter the chick the more chances of seeing her prancing around with a coffee cup at lunch.

I know exackly what you mean, if its morning time and if shes hot.. there is a good chance she'll have a coffee cup in her hand. Woman just like to strut around with this stuff. To be honest, when I do drink coffee and holding the cup, I do feel more confidence.

Baffles me most people don't see this. Regarding the "if its on the internet then it must be true" thats only apply to an oppinion of 1 or so person but if its a poll of hundred the odds will balance out. Alot of researches are done by online poll.

I don`t get why Americans drink so much coffee, tea is so much better for you and depending on the brand has more caffine. It also doesn`t give you the coffee breath, which is a MAJOR TURNOFF for me. Green tea burns fat, coffee makes you fat.

I kinda agree that women are drinking coffee cuz of feminism. They start out in highschool thinkig it`s cool to have coffee in the morning, pretty soon they get addicted and end up going to starbucks everyday for the rest of their lives... If you want to WAKE UP then take a shower or buy an energy drink. Monster tastes 1000 times better than all the nasty coffee they sell at starbucks.

Women like to consume things. Actually it doesn't matter much what it is. The world could solve most of its ecological problems just by getting women to stop consuming. They are an environmental scourge.

Because they don't have enough testosterone to keep them alert, feminists have taken to using stimulants like caffeine to try and emulate the abilities of men. But it has not worked, and instead they sit around scoffing pastries whilst swapping trivial gossip.

They are too lazy to make a cup of coffee and they have the money to blow on Starbucks coffee. Maybe guys are stingy, afterall who would pay $2-$3+ for the name? Tim Hortons makes better coffee for a buck. Hell I can make better coffee at home. And what the hell has coffee drinking to do with feminism :S? You guys are taking it too far.

And the coffee they sell in cups here is sooooo.....well disgusting.

I only use caffeine strategically, anyway ... and it's green tea for me. Smoother "boost," fresher taste (not to mention breath), and healthy, too.

Starbucks and their ilk (Coffee People etc) offer a fast predictable and not too bad product. The places are full of folk getting after lunch coffees every weekday and most of the customers are men, but most of the benchwarmers are women. But I strongly suspect that would vary with a change in site - this area is tech rich and a lot of engineers are getting coffee. Women are not engineers.

As for too lazy, it's just not worth the time - they're probably due back to a meeting or have pressing work, so the $3 for the drink is worth less than the time they save, a simple value exchange sort of proposition.

I agree with a few posters, if by coffee you mean $3-$5 lattes loaded with sugar, yeah girls drink it alot. They love sugar, chocolate etc.

I think the need the stuff to stop their cranky PMS behaviorisms.

Fortunately my gf doesn't need it. She is pretty damn calm and level headed which is another great reason to keep her!

I counted heads yesterday at the coffee house. Of the customers 17 were men, 6 were women. All 6 women were parked outside on the patio socializing, and only 1 guy was sitting ouside with 1 more sitting inside reading. This is pretty typical.

3 children were there with 2 of the women. I assume they were the moms but who knows.

when my iron was low my doctor said do not drink tea, it is the worst thing when it comes to iron.
when i had a kidney stone, they had to test the particles to see what they were made of and my doctor came back and told me that they were caused by tea and that is why southerns get so many kidney stones, from drinking too much sweet tea.

I mean Japanese green tea (Gyokuro, Sencha, Matcha, Houjicha) and Chinese (Oolong and Jasmin) Also southerns drink a lot more alcohol like Moonshine... so the doc doesn't know wtf he's talkin about, what he should have said was don't drink tea a hour before taking vitamins/iron.

im sure you are right about the kind of tea, and i knew you would tell me hehe
but my dr had to send my kidney stone particles to the lab to be tested to tell me what to avoid. apparently there are kinds you can get from calcium and others from tea. he said mine were caused from tea.
then he told me to drink lemonade because it helps your body to not produce them.

Doent green tea help protect you teeth from cavities? the farm folks don't even brush their teeth, they just wash their mouth with tea before bed and most of them don't have cavities.
