2 options outside of college:
1) Get a trade. Either ask family for money and if that doesn't happen there's actually trades out there that will PAY to teach you how to do things. My cousins (both ex drug addict losers) went to a welding school in north carolina that taught them to be welders, and it was all free. What's the catch: You have to sign a deal with them that you will work with them for 1 year at a much lower rate than they'd have to pay real welders. (both my cousins blew this but were making $80k a year without college degrees and with tattoos all over their bodies.) I'm sure this isn't the only trade school that does that.
2) Get any job you can get and learn how to make that money last. Learn some minimalist habits. Survive on less of the junk you don't need anyway.
