I had a house with 3 other roommates. One of the roommates is the girlfriend of my other roommate "john". This was a old house built in like the 50's and the rent was $1100. I have bad allergies and there was mold in the house and I was sick most of the time i was there. Plus I was developing depression. We are halfways into our year long lease and we just had another girl move in which was a friends of "john".Eventually I become suicidal stayed at the phsyiatric hospital for a week an I decided I needed a change and moved out and got into a nice newer one bedroom house. I thought it was great timing because they just had another person move in. Well than that girl just up and left one day and never payed any rent or bills. Last night I got two voicemails when I was sleeping from "john" and his girlfriend who were drunk telling me how I screwed them over and how I was such a douchebag and that I should slit my wrist and kill myself and that they are never going to pay me the money they owe me ($150).

My happiness was at stake and I just needed to move out. They were deadbeat roommates who smoke weed all the time but never had money to pay me back. Should I be feeling depressed over this? I want to get back at them somehow.

It may be the case that you deserved a bit of rudeness.

Did you have a lease? Did you leave without formally canceling the lease with a landlord? You're lucky they're making prank calls instead of suing you.

Might want to record that call, though. If they do sue you, you have them on tape talking about the money they owe you that they aren't paying back. That should get a laugh out of a judge.

Yes I was on the lease but I signed a release form with the landlord and gave them my key.

Like that is your fault? If they accept another tenant in your place, then you are out of there. What the new tenant does has nothing to do with you.

the best revenge is living well.

these people are toxic. cut all contact, change your phone number and make unlisted if required.

you did the right thing. now just move on and forget they ever existed.

Just let it go. you made the right decision by getting out of there. I would consider that mess worth losing $150

They pretty much never lock the house so what I could do is drive by and see if there cars are there and poison there snake. Or I coud leave an anynomous tip for the police that they have weed and paraphanilia in there room.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Are you kidding me? You're down about some jackass who left a rude drunk message on your machine? He didn't even have the balls to talk to you sober or in person? Don't let tools like this bring you down.. be a bigger person and just erase them from your life.

The real issue here is your mental health - suicidal thoughts?

If a phone call and 150 dollars gets you down then I see why you may suffer a breakdown on more major issues in your life.

I imagine if they wanted you to pay rent it was more than $150. You got a release from your landlord, than you're fine. Definitely record their calls if they ever call back. The whole "go kill yourself" probably wouldn't play out well in a court situation.
