Hi,

This is relating to a previous thread: http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=68796&highlight=advice+on+a+girl

Well today when I went to grab something to eat at the university diner, and, I seen one of my classmates there so, we sat down and had something to eat. Anyway, that girl whom I had a thing for came over to where we were eating and she didn't even make eye contact with me or anything. She was just chatting with my friend about another class, and, she didn't even make conversation with me and she was sitting right next to us. Actually every so often when I did glance over at her, she was playing with her hair while talking and slightly mimicking his movements (I picked up on this quite fast), she was flirting with him but, I don't know if he realized it. So I'm just thinking to myself "I had my chance and I f***ing blew it", I guess she could only stay interested for only a while before she loses it. She doesn't even come over and talk to me now. All of the hints were there but, unfortunately I waited too long.

So, should I continue with the attempts or just let her go? It is actually bothering me that I may have passed up a great opportunity with a great girl (I'm a little down about this). Any suggestions or opinions on how I can overcome this?

Who knows what she thinks. Maybe she is trying to get your attention by talking to your friend. But all she did was talk to your friend, maybe she is interested in him, maybe she is not. I don't think there's any reason to next her. I've missed a lot of opportunities because I assumed girls were interested in other people when they were just innocently talking. As long as you don't lose your head over this girl, then you might as well make another attempt.

Would that mean to continue smiling at her when I see her and make brief conversation or wouldn't that just come off as just being friendly (like how you talk to one of your friends type-thing)? Suggestions please?

BTW: I don't know what it is but, I think had a thing for her and after more analysing it is just infatuation, right? I am trying to tell myself that this girl does this and that for me (emotionally and physically)
