I abolsutely LOVE chuck taylors ( http://www.la-story.com/upload/2007/12/Converse_Chuck-Taylor-All-S.jpg )
and its because you can wear them with almost anything in the right color.
I got some extra cash laying around and I wanted to pick up another pair of shoes, but I wanted something as flexible as Chuck taylors. You can literally wear these things to any occasion and im curious if anyone else has a pair of sneakers that they could share so i could make a good purchase. pictures would be great

Very sweet. The only problem I have with high-top trainers is that I can't stand not having the tougue covered by my jeans. How do you wear them? Messy with the tougue showing or overalled by your jeans?

I'm relatively just Vans, Perry Boat deckshoes, Nike Air Max One/90s, Supra's, Air Force One, Asics Mexico 66, Lacoste and Lonsdale.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

No. You can't. Or you should not. They are not dress shoes and would never qualify IMO.

I had a pair of Chuck Tailors that I quite liked. They were grey denim and a nice pair of shoes, but they're made like crap. They fell apart and destroyed my socks in the process. I literally wore through the fabric on the inside by the heel, then worse through the rubber behind it to just the outside fabric. I'm certain if I'd continued wearing them that I would have had a giant hole in the back of my shoes. You're better off getting one of those environmentally friendly clones than you are buying the original ones made in sweatshops.

I don't have a ton of shoes. My go-to pairs right now are a basic black leather with red lace/accent pair of Creative Recreations and then my bigger Piloti G16s.

Have you actually tried training I'm these? It's not easy at all. My Dad got me a pair and I retired some low grade trail running I'm them. I was in soooo much pain the next few days.
No, I normally wear them at the beach easy to put on and off.

You have to run properly. Don't land on the heel.

Most shoes are like this. They have this huge cushion on the heel making you lazy. That's not the proper way, and it really doesn't help for speed and endurance.

It's not that, the protection and cushioning are fine. It's the fact that my toes were spreading free on on uphill over rocks and stuff. My shins got the brunt of it because the were flexing in unfamiliar ways.

Well, now I know what to expect. I've been looking at the five fingers for running instead of the Nike Free.

If your shins hurt, that means they're the weakest link. They'll strengthen.
