Fate and spiritual fortunetelling.

I'm from Asia, and a portion of asians have religions and believe in spiriyual stuffs. Been in the forum for 2 years and learned a great deal of stuffs. I'm quite sure i'm doing the correct stuffs.

Recently, i accompany my friend to a fortuneteller whom's quite accurate and reputable. And I might as well get my future read.

In total in my recent years, i have 3 different fortunetellers telling me.. I have extreme bad luck in my relationship and future marriages.. At first, i'm quite sceptical until all of them told me the same thing. Of coza they dun go around telling ppl that all have bad luck in love.

As much as i want to keep my DJ skills in place, i cannot deny that... i indeed have extreme bad luck in my r/s. i have not done much AFC stuffs, i'm very good looking and successful in my career. as far as what my female friends said... I am a GREAT CATCH... however, girls seems to treat me as friends.

Have tons of female friends.. none wanna **** me. As i said.. i play my cards correctly... Sigh.. i cannot deny that i've rather low confidence recently...

Not asking for advice but just to ask.. do you guys believe in spiritual stuffs..? as in something's blocking your success?

but seriously, if psychics were for real theyd all be rich cuz they would know the lottery numbers every week. oh wait, their psychic powers don't tell them anything that could make them money (seems like a pretty odd cosmic psychic rule if you ask me).

We have those. They're sci fi writers, or the people we call visionaries. It's a combination of luck and foresight.

And, to the OP, yeah, I believe in that stuff. Sometimes, there's just too much evidence to ignore. This one time, and I won't go into details, I was thinking about doing something right around the time that I met a 'psychic' online. One of the first things she said to me related directly, and quite clearly, to what I was thinking about doing. She didn't know about it; only one other person knew. There's some other stuff too, and there's enough of it that I don't doubt that psychics exist.

OH, and one piece of unsolicited advice... when I had a lot of close female friends, and none of them would date me, I felt like dirt. It was a constant reminder of my inability to find a GF or even get laid. I don't even try to become good friends with women anymore, and I'm a lot less miserable. Just something for you to chew on.

Absolutely.

It is important to un block yourself.

And there is a spiritual component to it as well.
IF you don't heal yourself, and clear these 'blockages' you are doomed to repeat the same mistakes and unfortunate circumstances.

Have you even thought that what you projected to the girls, you also projected to the fortune tellers?! You sit down with someone for 5 mins and you can really tell alot about a person.

I refuse to believe in fate. We make our own. If you believe you will always be unlucky in relationships, you probably will. I wonder if fortune tellers ever predicted that they would make a living out of fooling gullible people and making a small amount of money..

Yes but they are female FRIENDS. They are just friends because they are not attracted to you. What girls say and what they mean is often not the same thing, even if they don't realise it. They don't know what they want. DJ Damage is right, read Pooks works.

The first thing fortunetellers do is a technique called cold reading. They look at you, your mannerisms, how you dress, and from there make a few guesses about you. If you dress in a suit and seem upbeat, they will focus on success. If you dress like a slob they will focus on failures. There is also hot reading where they find out things about you before you ever meet.

The next thing they do is they throw out a whole number of guesses, often in rapid-fire succession. You remember the hits, forget the misses, and you may even try to force fit a miss into a hit. They also are chock full of qualifiers--something "feels", "seems", "may be", etc--phrases which act as an escape hatch when they turn out to be wrong.

The third thing they do is make comments which seem to be very specific to you but in actuality are extremely common.

In actuality, all psychics are frauds. Your money would be better spent picking up a call girl, at least then you'd get laid.

F A T E . . . it is very powerful, and I believe in it to the core. When you have your game packed down tight and you know that for a solid fact, yet you only have hotties "lusting" for you once in a while, then you know something isn't right and something else is at work here, ESPECIALLY when you see hotties "lusting" for AFC's. Something to really think about to all you guys who laugh and don't believe FATE is a real thing. Believe me, I'm very much a philosopher/rational thinker/skeptic who looks at situations from multiple angles, who seek's out truth first through sciencific explanation. But I can tell you all one thing...from what I've seen/am seeing in life, the supernatural does exist.

Fate is not etched in stone. What these so-called psychics do is read your energy / aura, see "chump" written all over you and predict the most logical future for someone in your energetic state.

One of my ex's used to read palms and one of the first things they teach you is that destiny is not a straight line. You are marked by the karma of your ancestors and have certain tendencies, but none of these are beyond your control.

Predicting bad relationships is almost as foolish as saying that someone is genetically predisposed to be an alcoholic or drug addict. Even if there is some probability, and their fathers, and father's fathers were junkies.. none of that holds any water when you consider the phenomenon of personal choice

Destiny is a real force that you can either mold to your liking, or let it mold you. The only thing that distinguishes the clay from the potter is intent.
