It just seems from this statement that you were refering to hondas as nice cars.

Maybe you sould change the first couple sentences to this:

BTW, those Hondas may be able to rip almost everything on the road, but you have to remember that everything on the road isnt' racing. As far as performance is concerned, those cars, through no fault of their own (they were built for getting groceries) are at the low-end of the totem pole, unless you have a crapload of money. It's just the best some of those kids can do. But, like I said, at least it's a hobby...albeit in some cases a tasteless one.

But in that world, just like anywhere else, there are DJs and AFCs. There are people who like suping up their cars and making them look "better" (and I use the term loosely ) because it's something they're passionate about in life, and there are those who are just trying to put on a show, since their deep-seated insecurities prevent them from making friends or meeting girls any other way. I've seen the car-scene and I've seen both kinds of people.

Either way, why concern yourself with them? If you give them any thought whatsoever, you'll enforce the strange notion in their heads that smoking their tires and revving their engines makes them more manly...and that kind of idea isn't good for them OR you.

Most(ok, alot) are kids, yes most of them are, with lil puss mods(exhaust,tires) on their whips, but it isn't fair to associate them with the older crow(20-30) who have houses, and put lots of time and effort into making their cars raced out. But then the racer fags muddy it up with their weedwhacker exhausts n ****.I like rice burners only if they are pimped out right ,and can keep up with my 00 stang GT>LMAO
But i have no respect for kids who think they can beat a v-8 with a 4-banger that is bone stockPULLLEZZE.

I wanted a LS1 v-8 but could only afford a 4.6 gt mustang, i still like f-bodies, but i notice now why so many people like mustangs too...but my car has loud pipes, people speed when they cruise around me, swear to my momma, I'd be doing 45 in a 40, mut hafu cka next to me in a kia rio wants to go 60.(yeah fool, show me where the cops are hiding)....

Its not better nor inferior to a V8.

4 cyl and V8's each have their own advantages and disadvantages, and it also depends on what your using the car for. I'm not gonna go into the nitty gritty details of why a 4 cylinder can be advantageous or why a V8 can be also, because

1) no one would probably understand it

2) even if i presented the facts, people have trouble overcoming their emotional biases to accept the fact

3) its not really a matter of debate unless your building a car.


just like in america we build V8's, in europe and japan they hop up little four cylinders. different cultures, different purpose.

I am a car enthusiast and enjoy attending organized cruises where other fellow car enthusiasts can meet up, talk about cars and then cruise together on pre-planned routes. It's a social event and usually its a night where the girl-friends are left out of (maybe a night when they can spend time with their friends?)

Your argument is flawed as you seem to be generalising, everyone has a hobby that they enjoy and spend time on, people are different. Just because ricing up cars and going on cruises isn't your thing, does not mean that other people that do enjoy it are "losers".

I'm not saying that i like riced up cars, but my argument is that if these guys want to spend/waste $$$ on putting stickers on their cars, then thats THEIR choice.

I hate people who do that kind of crap to a car and think that it makes them fast and sweet. They take a Honda Civic, slap some ground effects, a rediculous spoiler, an oversized tail pipe, some neons and some lame ass decals on a car and suddenly its sweet.

They then diss my El Camino SS that could easily smoke any of their cars because they think it looks gay. Then they drive off in their compact with a 3 foot tall spoiler that sounds like someone ripping ass...

People really need to start appreciating nice cars, and realize "sport compacts" are really lame.

I'm as anti-ricer as the next guy, but this is just stupid. Do we really feel the need to prove our manliness to other guys (who, for all we know, are 14 year old girls and prison convicts) on some message board? "ooh, my car is cooler than yours!"...get a life. Some Honda kids have slow cars with lame mods, but so do a lot of kids driving mustangs and VW's. There are PLENY of Hondas out there than will absolutely PULL on a Trans Am. I'm not a fan of ricer cars, but to each his own. I don't need to get my testosterone fix by insulting the hobbies and interests of others. Do what you want to do, and do it well, and nevermind what anyone else thinks or does. You guys need to quit hating. At first I too hated rice rockets. I didn't see too many of them but when I did, it was funny how the kids acted like such badasses.

However now I feel that people should do what they want. I kind of like the look of rice rockets because you can personalize your car to what you want. I'd rather drive a rice rocket than a Ford Taurus or a Jeep Cherokee because everyone and their f*cking dog has one. I even see a lot of Escalades and Hummers on the roads. I want a car that is different from the rest yet shows off my personality.

At first my dream car was a black Escalade. Now its more closer to a red Lexus convertible. However I want a second car that is riced out.

After reading all of your posts. I am trying to get more chicks.
Should I get a rice rocket? I have a friend who wants to sell me his. For 15, 000 I can have a 98 civic with 3 foot spoiler, can as the exhaust, neon lights on bottom, loud system, with Calvin urinating decal on the rear window. I really like this Hooters girl and trying to impress her. Will this car do?

My Opinion on cars...

I would rather all of you drive environmentally safe Hondas than some old muscle car that kills half a block of trees just while it revs up.

Cars are cars....they are tools we use. If you are using them to pick up chicks, then you have a small d!ck. If you want a nice car because you like the look, then good for you. Myself, I cant imagine wasting money and time playing dress up with a car. I will, when i finish school, buy a good, economical car.

And i will not soup it up.

oh...and I just really hate SUVs.
