Farting Problems

Sorry to be explicit, but I hold my farts in. This isn't good I know, but I really can't tell if I'm going to fart or shat my pants.

Seriously does anyone have similar issues? Should I just stop holding it it? I mean, usually when I run to the bathroom it turns out to be a fart anyways and no shat. I'm curious because this is pissing me off. I think for today I will assume it is all farts coming out.

It's the whey man. Just don't push the fart out. Do some recognizanse before you let it all out to see if your ass is fooling you with **** instead off air.

Yeah, just control the fart and let it out slowly.

And holding them in isn't as bad as some people think. I don't think you should do it all the time, but usually it's not a problem. You fart when you sleep, so most of the farts you hold in during the day will just come out then.

Lifeforce: Yeah I think that could be it. I've been having constant diarrhea for a day and a half so I'm scared.

Familyguy: Good call. It feels better too though if I just let it out. However, after I let it out, it just builds up and I'm like constantly farting.

Rightnow, the diarrhea has stopped and my assh0le has stopped hurting. I'm just farting a lot now and it smells really bad. My temperature also went down a bit, so hopefully I can start lifting again soon, but first I am going to focus on sports. Sometimes when I'm playing, I wear white shorts so it'd be super embarassing if I shat my pants while playing you know what I mean? yeah...

I too have noticed a HUGE increase in farts since I starting taking whey in January. I'll every ten days or so there will be a two or three day period where I need to fart every few minutes. Obviously I have to hold it in at school so I don't notice it as much, but it's really quite annoying. And DAMN DO THEY SMELL. Is there anything I can do to reduce the farting while still staying on they whey?

alright so you dont eat taco bell, but your overall diet can't be that good if you have this problem. try to stay away from the usual junk like sodas, chips, any type of fast food, etc, for few days and see what happens. if that doesnt help, i'd suggest seeing a doctor because then there's a problem with your digestive system.

The only "junk" food I regularly eat is two pieces of pizza everday for lunch. Other than that I just eat peanut butter, bread, tuna, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, and whatever is for dinner. All I drink is milk, water, and juice (and chocolate whey mixed with milk). Could the pizza be the cause of the excess farting?

Ok thanks that would definitely explain it, considering I've had three glasses in the last 5 hours. ;)

There is an over-the-counter product called BEANO that you can take with food to nearly eliminate farts in a healthful way. Give it a try, it works.

just dont be scared. fart your brains out and push as hard as you want, most of the time you really wont crap. with practice you can tell crap from a fart and mainly a crap you feel in your stomache while a fart just pushes at your butt

It's the whey. I personally use soya, and I went farting like crazy. I haven't used it in a while, and I haven't farted in a while.

There's no resolution than to fart when you get home or something. Fart before lunch, and after lunch. Get it out when you can, hold it when you can't...

Milk has a big impact on the digestive system, I think it's the lactic acid. Lactose intolarence...

Yeah I agree. I've also heard there are some other substance in whey also that ****s with your digestive system. I can drink alot off milk but I can't mix it with whey without farting.

i've got terrible gas..
and taking whey just makes it smell worse, doesn't give me any extra..

but i know that to decrease the ammount of gas, eat slowly, and chew thoughrally.. i did that for a little while, and it REALLY helped... but i find it really hard to not just scoff my food home..
i think i'm getting a little bit better though..
