I'm texting some bird, and she rips on me for being old!! Im 21 shes about to turn 19.

So the conversation goes like this:

Her: Old joke at my expense

Me: Such a charmer, too bad your too young for me. (Shes only 2 years younger)

Her: Its okay I have a boyfriend, he's 20, too old for me too :L.

Me: No 20's okay, your just not ready to handle someone on my level yet :p ahaha!!!

Her: Oh right... dont want someone like you or age anyway. :).

How do i reply to this & have i used the disqualifier correctly or have I shot myself in the foot?

Cheers guys.

UPdate:

Me : Someone LIKE me, [her name] you cant have me either :p

Her : Ohhh right, or you. I dont need someone else :L hahaha

Me : I never said me, Jeez, behave yourself!!

Her : Thats really good then. Your terrible!

How would you guys say this went? Fail or well? She seems to have reacted well as shes still texting me even though my intentions are pretty clear :L.

I don't know about "False disqualifiers" and all these PUA gimmicks. But I do know that you're spending way too much time texting this girl.

If you're trying to get in her pants, then make it happen or walk away. But don't spend your time feeding her attention while she goes home and f**ks her boyfriend.

As far as saying "You're too young for me." yeah, I thought that was a cool, funny way to flirt with a girl. But after that, it's just looking like two high school kids killing time in between classes.

I'm not one of those guys who says NEVER text a girl, but if you're gonna text a girl, at least make sure that it ends up somewhere where you can see if there's interest (i.e., "meet me for drinks"). Because otherwise, trust me, a girl with ZERO interest will still be happy to waste your time as you shower her with attention.

Your attempt at false disqualifying didn't work. Here's why:

When you disqualify you want to do it in person OR when the woman already see's value in you.

If she only see's you as another orbiter chasing her then it comes off as cheesy and try too hard.

That's the overall vibe I got while reading your text exchange; you are trying to hard to act like your suave. In other words, it doesn't seem natural yet.

Keep working at it though, experience is the best teacher.
