Its not about being creepy, its about age of consent law that could send your ass into jail.

There are 18 year olds doing 15 and 16 year olds all across the country... not that it makes it legal, but it may be argued in court that due to close proximity of age it was consentual... that said, millions of people are guilty of statutory rape and never get caught... IMO it's not a big deal when we're talking 2-3 years.

When you are 18[adult] and she is younger than the age of legal consent,then the old saying can come true for you "15 will get you 20[years in jail]" You need to know the law in your state-talk to someone who KNOWS-cop,lawyer etc. SHE may be cooperative,but her parents can turn you in. EVEN if she admits it was consentual-they will have the law on you[lordknows their precious princess would never do that]. I know a guy who knocked up a girl-when the LAW did the math, he did 90 days in county and is a registered sex offender. IS it worth it to you?

As others have said, if you're thinking of having sex with this girl, use your head and be smart. Is it worth going to jail over and being labeled a sex offender? No way. There's plenty of women out there who are of "legal" age. Be wise, don't do it. It is only to your benefit not to.

Between the ages of 16-17 the law in Canada is ambiguous at best:

Section 153 then goes on to prohibit the sexual touching of a person under 18 by a person in three circumstances: if he or she is in a "position of trust or authority" towards the youth, if the youth is in a "relationship of dependency" with him or her, or if the relationship is "exploitative". The term "position of trust or authority" is not defined in the Code but the courts have ruled that parents, teachers, and medical professionals hold a position of trust or authority towards youth they care for or teach. For determining whether or not a relationship is "exploitative", s. 153 (1.2) of the Code provides that a judge can consider how old the youth is, the difference in ages between the partners, how the relationship evolved, and the degree of control or influence that the older partner has over the youth.

If her parents or her complain, it may be up to a judge's discretion to decide your fate. Needless to say if there is big enough gap between the years then it won't look good.
